chapter 24

Jax POV

It has been a week since she left with him, out of all people she had to leave with him. I called MINE after them and I know he knew what that meant as he grabbed her around her waist. I see red when he did that and I followed then. Drake must have heard the commotion and got to me before I did anything stupid, he put his hands on me to stop me following them.

I regret him putting his hands on me but, in another way, I am glad he did. He stopped me making a scene, which was a good thing. But now I don’t have my mate here and I don’t know where she is. I bury my face into my pillow and scream, I can feel someone sit next to me. I immediately know it is my mother, I turn my face to the side and feel her brush a strand of hair off my face and place it behind my ears.

‘My son, no amount of pillow screaming will get her to come back to you’ she calmingly tells me ‘I know you don’t want to hear this but I sense she is in danger, I am not sure by what’. I nod as there are no words that want to form. She puts her hand on my back and suddenly I am somewhere with all trees surrounding me, I hear someone so I follow the sound and come to a clearing which has a cabin on it.

 I keep following the sound and find myself at a window watching a girl kissing someone, I can feel my heart start to break. I realise the girl is Indy, until I see the man’s hands come around her waist. I let out a low growl before I notice I am back in my room with my mum staring at me wildly. ‘Where did you go my son’ she asks me. ‘I seen her, I seen Indy’ I gasped. She gave me a short smile and I know she is up to something.

My mum gets off the bed and starts walking to the door, she stops and looks back at me ‘Ask Drake if he can get me some personal of Indiana’s for me and be quick about it, we don’t have much time going by your vision’ she said and turns around and heads to her special room. I grab my phone and message Drake regarding what my mum asked for, he responds and will be over with it shortly.

I walk to my door and let my mum know that Drake will be over shortly with what she has asked for. I don’t have to talk loudly as she can hear me. I don’t know what my mum is planning but I trust her and we need to help my mate. Before anything happens to her. I don’t know what I would do if I lost her. I know she doesn’t feel the same yet but my mum is will to try and help with her memories, if it is not too late. And then she will remember all the parts of life before the accident.

Indy POV

The kiss was just as I thought it would be and I want more but resist the urge for a full make out session as I don’t want to go all the way just yet. I want to get to know him more. I think to myself ‘We should give him a kiss in the morning and one of a night when we part for bed. So, he knows I am interested in possibly moving forward in the future.

I feel arms wrap around my waist ‘what are you thinking about’ I hear Malcom whisper in my ear. ‘Nothing you don’t already know’ I replied the whisper back. I could feel him smile into my ear. He gave me a quick kiss and let me go and we continued on with dinner. Malcom always insists on making me his specialty drink which I love, it tastes some yummy. I sit down at the table, and just as I think that he places one of his drinks on the table along with my dinner. I smile and he returns it back.

We sit and eat quietly, after we finish with dinner. We get up and Malcom washes the dishes and I pack them away. Once the kitchen is clean, we decide to watch a movie. I let him pick it tonight, he picks an action one and I snuggle into him. I am more interested in watching him watch the movie. Weird I know.

Every now and then he would look at me and I would blush, he would give her a quick peck on the lips and then return to the movie. I really wish he would not stop. When the movie finally finished, he turned everything off and we headed to our individual bedrooms. I stopped in front of mine, he stopped as well.

I put my hands on his shoulders and leant in for what I thought was just going to be a peak but it turned out better. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into him. I felt his tongue sliding up and down my lips asking for me to let him in. I opened my lips slightly and let his tongue in and then we explored each other mouths.

We pulled apart needing air. I was still in his embrace. I didn’t want to part but I need him to wait for me. I am not quite ready to share his bed.

Malcom POV

We sat and ate dinner and then washed and clean the kitchen together. Afterwards we decided to watch a movie and Indy let me pick it, so I picked an action one. I don’t think I could handle watching a romantic one with her looking at me. It took me all my strength not to take her there and then. But I will wait, I need her to come to me.
