Chapter 20 - s****l content

Indy POV

I walked to the house and hope nobody was home, I didn’t want to be around anybody. I walked to the kitchen and Grammy left a note saying she was going to be out until late, I was thankful for that. Now hopefully Drake doesn’t come home. I went to my room and locked it after I closed it. I grabbed my things and went to the bathroom where I took a long shower to try and forget what I heard today but that was impossible.

I heard my phone buzzing; I really didn’t care at that moment. I finished and got dressed. I walked out and grabbed my phone, I noticed that I had a few missed calls and messages from Jax. ‘s**t’ I thought to myself ‘I forgot to let him know I wasn’t going to be able to see him tonight’ but before I could think my phone start ringing. It was Jax.

‘Hello’ I answered, silence, ‘at home’, silence, ‘no there is no need for you to come over’ silence, ‘I think I ate something that isn’t agreeing with me’ silence, ‘yeah, I think I am just going to try and get some sleep and hopefully it goes away by tomorrow’ silence. ‘ok bye’ I hang up before I hear his reply. I have to try and act normal in case they pick up on, that I know it was them. But that doesn’t mean I have to be anywhere near them.

I put my phone on my dresser and pull the blankets down and get in and pull them back up. I try and get into a comfortable position and lay there for what seems like forever until I am finally asleep. Praying I don’t dream about my mum’s accident tonight.

Jax POV

I got really worried when I hadn’t heard from Indy, So I grabbed my phone and tried to call her, she didn’t answer so I sent her a message. I went and grab some food, when I came back there was still no reply so I tried to call her again, still no answer so I sent another message. I decided while I wait for a reply, I would have a quick shower. After I dried and dressed and walked out and checked my phone still no answer.

She catches me a little off guard when she answers, it was a quick conversation and she sounds a little off, even Axel doesn’t accept her responses to our questions but I can not judge her. I upset her the other day and it might need some time to fix it. Axel agrees with me so we let it slide. We finish the conversation.

I turn around and find my mum in m doorway, she has a frustrated look on her face like she is lost in thought. I give a small cough which brings her out. ‘Everything ok, mum’ I ask her. ‘I don’t think it is my son’ she answers me back ‘I fear something foul is at play’ my mouth turns in a ‘O’. ‘You know I can see and sense things’ she asks me. I nod before she continues ‘well I can sense something wrong but there is a fuzzy haze covering it but I know it has something to do with Indy’ I start to see red and my fists start to ball up.

‘I just can’t see what is. I need to see her so I can see how is trying to put her in danger’ mum adds. I nod and say ‘I will see if Drake can talk to her as she is shutting me out’ mum pulls me into a hug ‘My boy, my boy, she will see you are her mate and would never do anything to hurt her’ I smile into my mum’s shoulder. We part and she gets up reminding me we need to act fast. I nod and pull out my phone. I dial Drake and fill him in on what my mother had said and we agreed we would get her here tomorrow somehow.

Malcom POV

I get home and notice Sweetie is already crashed out in the middle of the bed, so I get my clothes and go to the guest wing. I walk into the bathroom; I turn the water on and strip my clothes off. I get under the water and I let myself think of my beloved Indiana. Every time the water hits my body, I think it is her hands washing me. I close my eyes as I grab my member can see her touching me with her hands, I can feel myself grow in my hand. I make moving motions while thinking she is doing it and next thing; I am seeing stars.
