Indy POV
I woke up laying on the floor with the Professor waving smelling salts under my nose, I gave him a weird look after I was able to focus. ‘Indiana are you ok’ The Professor asked, ‘Wwwwhat happened’ my voiced asked shaking, ‘Um, you passed out, I went to get some books near the door and next thing I noticed when I turned around was you on the floor’ he replied.
Oh, I thought I have never passed out before, but the doctor did say things might happen to me now since my accident. I slowly sat up ‘Can you pass me my bag please’ I kindly asked the professor; he did as ask. I grabbed my phone, dial the number, and put to my ear ‘Hello’ Silence ‘are you busy?’ silence, ‘would you be able to pick me up from the college?’ silence, ‘yeah, everything fine, I will explain when you get here’ silence ‘Ok see you soon’ I hang up and put my phone back in my bag and gather the rest of my things.
About 10 mins later the door swings open and in walks Jax, he gives me a worried look ‘I passed out’ I tell him. He now looks even more worried which hurts me a little to see him that way. ‘I am ok really’ I said again. Jax scoops me and my bag up bridal style and carry’s me to the car, I snuggle into his chest and I feel it soothing both of us, he put me in the passenger’s side and squats down and he looks at me with his beautiful eyes.
‘Are you sure you are ok’ Jax askes me I take his hand and look at him and reply ‘Yes, Jax, I feel better already’ he gives me a small smile ‘you gave me a scare there’ I nod and tell him I am sorry he gives another small smile and closes the door and walks around the driver’s door and get in, he starts the car and drives me home. When we get there, he walks me in and too my room as I am a little tired, he makes sure I have everything before leaving, he tells me he will check in with me tomorrow, I give a small nod and a wrap my arms around him in a thank you hug, he hugs me back. He pulls back, he walks out the door and he closed it behind him.
I gather some clothes and head to the bathroom it has been a weird afternoon; I have never passed out before, I know the doctor told me things would be different for me since my accident but never did imagined my accident would cause me to pass out. And I am not sure how I feel about everything, I cannot remember anything after I ate one of the Professors wife’s cookies until I came too. I turn on the shower and strip my clothes off and got in, I let the hot water run all over me, after a little while I started to clean myself.
Once I was done, I turned the shower off and got out and dried myself. I wrapped the towel around me and brushed my teeth and brushed my hair and braided it when I finished, I got dressed in a shirt and shorts and curled myself in bed, I pulled the blankets up and snuggled into my pillow. It did not take long for sleep to take over.
‘Indy put your seatbelt on, we have to get out of here fast’ mum said. I just nodded and did as she asked. I trusted her to keep me safe. ‘Where are we going, mum?’ I asked after about the 5th car she overtook. She overtook another 5 or 6 cars so we did not stop at the red lights. I noticed she keep looking in the revision mirror to make sure no one was following us. ‘Somewhere they cannot hurt you!’ she replied.
‘Who is going to hurt me, mum?’ but before she could answer me, I seen a pickup truck coming straight for her side and it hit our car, the car rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled. I opened my eyes, ‘what is that warm liquid’ I asked myself as I wiped my fingers in it before I realised it was my own blood as there was a large opening on the side of my head. I looked around ‘Mum’ I called out and looked over to the driver’s side.
‘Look what you have done’ an unknown male voice said, ‘I have not done anything, you where the one that cause me to have this accident because you want Indy, and you cannot have her ever.’ my mum screeched. ‘You will never have her as long as I am around’. ‘No, my dear, you are the one how will lose this fight’ the unknown voice states. ‘Mum’ I tried to scream ‘look out behind you!’ suddenly there was an excessively big dog no, not a dog but a werewolf. He killed my mum right in front of me without any hesitations.
The wolf turns to face the car its yellow eyes found me, and I see it lick its lips, I see its mouth start to snarl and curl up showing its teeth and start striding to the car. I struggle with my seatbelt; ‘far out what is wrong with this stupid thing’ I say to myself as I tried to get out of the belt, all the while I can hear the wolf getting closer and closer, I ended up thrashing as I could not get it off and then suddenly everything went black. I just float in the blackness, every where I look it is black, I call out and have no voice. I am the only one here in the darkness. And all I can think about is wanting someone to come and save me.
