‘How long do we need to keep her locked up’ I asked my mum who was busy working her magic on something. ‘not long, that man she was with gave her a simple concoction’ she answered me. I gave her a WTF look, my mum giggle and answered ‘He made her take some kind of simple potion, I am not sure how he made her take it’ ‘meaning’ I asked she answered back ‘it was given to her by food or drink, but it wasn’t not strong enough for me to override it’ I shaped my mouth into an ‘O’.
My mother is a powerful which, she tells me she can feel how much magic some people have and that is how she knows if she should get involved with me or not. And when she seen Indy, she knew exactly how much magic was affecting her, and what she needed to do to help Indy.
