Andrea's POV I don't understand why her ignoring me frustrates me so much. When I entered the classroom, I scanned the front row, expecting her to be absent because of what happened yesterday. Just as I thought she might have skipped class, I spotted her sitting in the back row. The moment our eyes met, I felt a pang of disappointment. She looked shocked, exhausted, and, most painfully, devoid of the usual excitement, happiness, and smile she used to have when she saw me. In a word, she looked sad. Our eye contact lasted less than a moment before she averted her gaze. Her reaction bothered me more than I wanted to admit. Throughout the entire class, she looked everywhere except toward me.
