Scene 1 – The Bleeding Doll
The minutes dragged by with a heavy weight, and the air around Hagar grew colder despite the morning sun beginning to peek from behind the buildings.
She stood on the sidewalk, arms folded across her chest as if shielding herself from something unseen.
No one had arrived yet, except for a passing taxi, whose driver cast a fleeting glance at the parked car, then drove on as if he had seen nothing.
After a few minutes, a police car arrived.
A tall, sharp-featured officer in his mid-thirties stepped out, followed by two young assistants carrying small flashlights.
Hagar approached with hesitant steps and spoke in a low voice:
