After leaving her job at Hussein’s house, Miranda moved to a new home, but the dark shadow of malevolent spirits continued to follow her like an inseparable shadow. Neither her prayers nor her chants could protect her—neither at Hussein’s villa nor at Hadeel and Nadim’s house. All of this led her to the employment office for maids, where she secured a new position—this time in an abandoned apartment within an old tower left deserted by everyone, except for this single apartment.
