I knew that I had to begin moving soon when my soles sensed the heat that the ground beneath me had begun to radiate.
"You do not have much time." I jumped a little because a strange voice had interrupted the quiet. I looked around as if hoping to see someone.
"If you do not start moving within the next few minutes, then what is shown to your right will be your reality.” The voice spoke again.
My eyes looked at my right only to see a mirror where a person with my face was burnt alive as the planks crumbled and covered her up completely.
As I tried to touch the mirror, it disappeared.
"Be alert. What you saw is an illusion. However, if you do not begin soon, it will be your reality." I looked around once more. The source of the voice was still untraceable.
