The Contract

Sienna woke up, her eyes adjusting to the bright sunlight flooding her room. Her lips curved into a smile as she remembered her little late night adventure. Her mind took her back to the delicious kiss she shared with Mr. Blackwell, the way he grabbed her boobs and s*****d her ass. The thought of last night made her wet. She wanted more. The strong smell of oud still lingered on her skin, an evidence of their intimacy. She checked her time, it was already a few minutes past eight, stretching lazily across the enormous bed. She knew she wasn't going to tell Lola a thing about last night. This was her secret. For the first time in years, she didn't wake up thinking about bills, her mum's illness or hospital appointments. This felt so good. She got out of bed, when she glanced at her reflection in the mirror, she noticed a purplish mark at the edge of her collarbone. She bit her lip. That was proof. She heard a knock on her door, it had to be Julian. Maybe he was here to ask if she slept well. Slipping into the silk room, the padded barefooted to the door. “Good morning ma’am,” the servant greeted with a slight bow. “Breakfast is served, would you like me to bring yours to your room?” “No, I'll be out in a minute. Thank you.” She shut the door. This was her reality now, servants at her beck and call. She was now Julian Blackwell's girlfriend, a fake girlfriend. She tied her hair up in a tight bun as she made her way into the bathroom. By the time she got out of the bathroom, there was already a dress on her bed. It looked simple yet expensive. She slipped into the dress, looking like a sunflower. After applying a light makeup on her face, she walked downstairs to join the family for breakfast. The whole house smells good. “Good morning baby, did you sleep well?” Julian smiled, giving her a peck on the cheek. “Yes sweetheart, I mean my bed was so comfortable.” “A cup of coffee for you, just how you like it.” Sienna took the cup from him, mouthing a thank you. She took a sip and almost spit it out. She hated having her coffee sweetened, she likes it black, but she had to pretend this was okay. The dining table was already alive with the clicking of silverware as Sienna walked in. The long mahogany table was full, there was almost every breakfast special on the table. Richard Blackwell was engrossed in the papers, he didn't even bother to raise his head. Perfectly composed in his dark blue suit. Marie smiled at her as she invited her to sit next to her. “You look very beautiful Mrs. Blackwell.” Dressed in a purple chiffon dress and adorned with pearls, Marie looked dashing. “Thank you my dear, you look great yourself.” Across the table, Jasmine's expression was fixed. She acted like she didn't see anyone else but herself. Sienna rolled her eyes. What's the problem with that b***h? “Looks like you made yourself comfortable so fast. Someone would think you've lived here all your life.” Jasmine forged a smile. The words dripped with disdain, but that was her business. Sienna slid gracefully into her sit without missing a beat. “Comfort comes naturally when you're treated with kindness.” Richard hid his smirk behind his coffee cup. Breakfast unfolded like a quiet performance. Sienna played her role with elegance, laughing softly at Marie's stories and answering politely when addressed. All the whole, she felt Richard's gaze on her. Julian, on the other hand remained detached. He finally dropped his phone halfway through the meal and said flatly. “ We'll need to leave right after breakfast. We need to go check out the rings and run few errands before going to the office.” “Of course,” her reply smooth and rehearsed. “You should visit more often dear, since you're already a part of the family. I love having you around.” Marie patted her hands on the table. Sienna promised she'll be coming here whenever she was free, this made Marie, who was already fond of her happy. After breakfast, she thanked everyone and followed Julian out to the car. The smell of freshly cut grass filled the air. The chauffeur opened the door for them but Julian raised his hand. “I'll be driving myself.” Inside the car silence stretched, as he opened the glove compartment and brought out an envelope. He handed the envelope to Sienna. “Open it,” he commanded. She did as she was told without asking any question. As she brought out the content in the envelope, it was a contract. “What is this?” “You'll be signing those papers before we proceed. That will help us both be on the same page. My lawyer has written out the rules, the dos and don'ts of this relationship.” He paused to make sure she was following. Sienna read the rules. No scandals, no surprises, she has to stop seeing other clients effective immediately. Positive public appearance and she was accountable to him. She would be moving into one of his penthouses until after the wedding. It wasn't even all. “Is this supposed to be a rule book or a contract?” He was already pissing her off. “Call it whatever you want, just sign the damn contract and hand them back.” She thought of everything she stood to gain if she signed this. After all, she had nothing to lose. Julian's mouth curved into something that wasn't quite a smile. “ You'll get everything you ever wanted. You should count yourself lucky.” Her chest tightened. “Fine, I'll have to read through the contract and have it sent to you.” “If you insist.” He slowly pulled off the curb and drove out of the mansion. Sienna knew she was never going to forget this beautiful house and the beautiful men it housed. She looked at the contract on her lap, she was going to sign it. She smirked. She wasn't interested in Julian but his father. Richard Blackwell was the catch. Why have one, when you can keep them both?
