Opening my eyes, I blink against the soft morning light that filters through the curtains. It’s morning and I stretch my arm across the bed, but I’m alone. Sitting up, I look at the clock on the nightstand and see that it's 8:30 a.m., which is pretty early considering when I fell asleep.
I fell asleep immediately after climbing into bed but woke up an hour later due to Channing's loud snoring, only to discover he was sleeping in the supine position. I woke him up, and he shifted, and after that, he stopped, but I was awake, and it took me forever to fall asleep again. My mind drifts off to Wade again, and I hope he'll be okay.
I also think about how grateful I am that my parents forgave him because he no longer has to be alone, even though I doubt he will come around often.
