Chapter 23

Soon, after agreeing to help Ivan and Selina find who hacked the scholarship applications, Tim finds himself back in his room, working with his way with computers with both Ivan and Selina in his room for the first time.

"Is that Afreen's laptop?" asked Selina who noticed Afreen's laptop in his rack. "Yeah, she came by asking to fix it, it's a long story." said Tim. "Not entirely long, you should cast these two out before they do something stupid." said Khayun within Tim which is only heard by him as usual but doesn't respond to it this time.

"Always thought your room would be creepy or something, can't believe it's this nice, and clean." said Ivan as he gazes upon a displayed award Tim received for his computer skills. "I've moved here only recently, you should have seen my previous room, speaking of, each of the applications weren't inputed with the same butt jokes, they used different words in each one." said Tim.

"Which means?" asked Selina. "Either someone took personal time to input all the words by themselves, or the same person didn't hack all the applications by themselves." said Tim as Ivan goes closer to touch his displayed award after opening it quietly. "Not an hour had passed, one of your so called friends seek to touch what you hold dear." said Khayun who observes what's Ivan doing.

"Don't touch that please, personal property." said Tim to which Ivan backs his hand away and looks around to see any cameras lingering nearby. "Now he seeks to find whether you are spying on him, pathetic!" said Khayun. "I don't need cameras Ivan, I have 360° view at all times now." said Tim.

"Cool, see, this is why you're always special than somebody Tim." said Selina to taunt at Ivan. "Thanks I guess, okay, I've managed to find one of the IP address of where the database's been altered, but I haven't been able to pinpoint it yet." said Tim. "What do you mean?" asked Ivan.

"Well.. this guy, however he or she is, haven't used the device in like.. ever, after entering your database, unless he comes online, we can't say where exactly this person is." said Tim. "What if this person never comes online, won't you be able to find him?" asked Ivan.

"I could, but I don't have enough equipment to, besides, we'll wait in a day or two, I bet this asshole is going to show himself soon, when he does, I'll let you know." said Tim. "Thank you Tim." said Ivan. "Don't thank me, thank her." said Tim. "It's fine Tim, besides, what are friends for?" said Selina.

"Yeah, I guess, and also, we're keeping this party for Dr. Shaw and his wife, if you guys wanna come, you could." said Tim. "Few days ago, I kicked your a*s, now you want me in your party?" asked Ivan. "Past is past man, besides, someone kicked you pretty good so.. if you don't wanna come." said Tim.

"I will, thanks, see you soon I guess, let me know about this too." said Ivan as she begins to leave. "I will." said Tim as Selina too begins to get up. "I better go too, I'm his lift." said Selina. "Yeah sure, be seeing you soon." said Tim as Selina waits by the door to which Tim nods and shuts the door immediately as he sighs.

"Now that's over, you there?" asked Tim. "Online I suppose, this person you saw us, you are going to confront her or what?" asked Khayun. "Now? it's pretty late don't you think?" asked Tim. "You've wasted enough time it is, talking your way around, time to do it my way." said Khayun. "You wanna kill a cop, sorry, but it can't work that way." said Tim.

"Why not? I've simply killed lot of people the moment I stepped in here, there were no consquences to that." said Khayun. "Those are just regular guys, with no idea Jinns or any other paranormal entity exists." asked Tim. "That is because.. your kind is weak and stupid, you simply cannot see what is right in front of your eyes." said Khayun.

"Okay, enough talking s**t about me, just.. shut up alright, I think I can find someone who can help me." said Tim as he takes out the visiting card and starts dialling the number. "No! that is a mistake, you have no idea what risk you would be putting us." said Khayun who pulls his fingers away as he attempts to type.

"Dude, just stop, okay? you needed help to make you stay hidden, I can do that." said Tim. "Not by this way, the moment you're reaching out to him to help, the likely he'll be able to take advantage of your situation." said Khayun. "Which means?" asked Tim.

"He'll use the existence of a Jinn inside you as a way to e*****e you to his needs, you i***t!" yelled Khayun. "That's... over thinking, and why are you keep calling me an i***t, I'm not a i***t, you are." said Tim.

"The only reason why you're still alive was because of me, I can't use enough words in this language to verify you, what kind of pig headed snot mind you are!" yelled Khayun. "Okay shut up! geez you have a temper, don't you?" asked Tim. "I do, you would be wise not to tangle it too much." said Khayun.

Meanwhile, the store being broken down by Sharon's stunt is now under the investigation of the Police, with Sharon herself under handcuffs and within the car.

While she sits within without speaking a word, Murphy once again returns to approach her after arriving at the scene. "Can't believe I'm going to do this." said Murphy as he goes on to open the door. "Come on." said Murphy to which Sharon gets out of the car and Murphy starts unhanding her cuffs.

"What's going on? thought you were here to send me to jail?" asked Sharon. "If it weren't for me, you might have, what the hell is this Sharon, see, this is why I didn't wanna involve you in the first place." said Murphy. "I saw her Murphy." said Sharon. "What? who? the victim's mom?" asked Murphy. "Fatima, she was here." said Sharon to which Murphy stands idle for a minute then starts to chuckle.

"I'm being serious, I saw her!" yelled Sharon. "What the hell is wrong with you Shar, you're... you're acting like this crazy person since the moment the accident happened to your dad." said Murphy. "You know well as I do, something paranormal about this case going on, I've seen it for myself." said Sharon.

"And the ghost of your dead best friend I suppose." said Murphy to which Sharon grabs onto Murphy violently by his jacket. "Shar.." said Murphy as Sharon slowly drifts away onto her memories of Fatima again. "Sharon!" yelled Murphy which brings her back. "You're daydreaming now?" asked Murphy.

"I saw her Murphy, swear to god, and this thing, it said to me I'm next, I'm next Murphy!" yelled Sharon. "I've should have never let you take on this case." said Murphy. "Why can't you ever agree to anything I say?" asked Sharon. "Because what you're saying is insane.. and stupid, and I get it why, after what happened to your dad, you're head isn't in the right place." said Sharon.

"Stop making this about my dad, this isn't about him." said Sharon. "Really? then why you seem interested in this case, why not go and investigate your own while I handle this." said Murphy.

"Jesus, there is no talking to you, I'm gotta here." said Sharon as she begins to leave. "Go then, if I see you next time on my case again, I'll arrest you myself, got it?" asked Murphy to which Sharon storms away without any response.

Meanwhile, at a undisclosed location, the chief doctor who obtained samples on Tim begins his analysis throughly at his secret lab. As he investigates it with certain types of variable chemicals, there seems to be different types of reactions according to it.

Soon as he's done with the complete analysis of it, he starts out his briefing by starting on his recording.

"This is Dr Adam Sandler, head researcher Biologist on supernatural entities, while going through the samples of Tim Blake which I've obtained directly from him, I came to a conclusion that my superiors were right, there is something living within Tim himself, while going through chemical reactions to test within the samples, the unique cells within seems to react to it by complete absorbance and excretion of a similar type of chemicals with the infections of the current one with it.

In theoretical words, what I can describe is that, whatever is living within Tim, it is living of its own conscious, it is smart, and is able disguise itself within the cells of human quite remarkably, which is why I was not able to understand any unusual biology when testing directly on him, in my years of experience, I've never seen anything like it at all, however, if this proves to be the existence of a viable Jinn just like my superiors suggested, we can look forward to directing a new breed of supernatural creatures through this creature itself.

It's ability to possess not one but two humans, would allow us to create a army of a breed by ourselves, with one singular mind instead of multiple, I will continue my analysis and see if this passes on as truth, and if it does, well.. what we're witnessing here could change the history of Humans forever, dominating ourselves back on to the top of the food chains with this entity under us." said Dr Adam Sandler as he ends his transmission and takes a deep breath.

As he is thinking about what he should do next, suddenly a big alarm starts beeping from afar, driving his attention immediately to which he becomes shocked.
