The child cries from the knock he had can be heard even from within as the person beside Tim starts laughing.
"Parents these days" said the person while looking at Tim with a smirk. "I'll definitely break that perfect teeth of yours if you head next." said Tim to which the person's expression change.
Just as the mother arrives out, Tim gets up and heads in. Moments pass as Dr. Shaw starts treating his injures inside, who is his cousin too. "Are you sure, you don't wanna go the police about this?" asked Dr. Shaw. "It's a waste of time, those lazy bastards can't even get out of their chairs." said Tim.
"That's a fact, but you can't keep doing this Tim." said Dr. Shaw. "I'm not doing anything, it's these idiots, fighting off a random guy for a girl, could have taken him out myself, hadn't he ganged up on me." said Tim. "They beat you over a girl?" asked Dr. Shaw. "Yeah, that's the worst part." said Tim.
"Well.. then you should definitely return the favour." said Dr. Shaw. "I definitely will, in my own way, can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss the good old days." said Tim. "You and me both, pal, you and me both." said Dr. Shaw. "I mean, that life had its downs, but compared to this, it's actually a bit better." said Tim.
"How so?" asked Dr. Shaw. "Where to start, the school is pure crap, I learn nothing useful there, and students, well, you may have noticed, town's obsessed with football, and people here, like Marmite, god, I hate that smell." said Tim to which Dr. Shaw laughs. "You hate marmite?" asked Dr Shaw. "You like it?" asked Tim. "Well.. I don't usually have it, but, it's actually quite nice to me." said Dr. Shaw.
"Maybe you should go school then, I'll just stay here with that stethoscope." said Tim. "No way, I'm not doing school again, I've had enough for one lifetime." said Dr. Shaw. "Why? too much of happiness is bad, someone like you must have had a pretty good time in highschool." said Tim.
"Nope, I used to get chew gums pasted on my hair, I once got poured down a bucket of mud water, which, come to think of it, is something worse than a mud." said Dr Shaw to which they start laughing.
"Wow, can't believe it, how did you survive?" asked Tim. "Well, I barely did, all I could think of those days is how do I skip school, not study, so, when the exams came, you can expect my results." said Dr. Shaw.
"You failed?" asked Tim to which Dr. Shaw nods. "Was the worst day of my life, my parents were furious, after a while of struggling through, I finally got the guts to attend night school, where it was less peaceful, and now, boom, I'm a doctor." said Dr. Shaw.
"From a dropout to a doctor, damm.. how come you never told this before?" asked Tim. "Worried that Karen wouldn't say yes, I guess." said Dr. Shaw to which they laugh. "I understated you doc, you're amazing." said Tim.
"Thank you very much Tim, and, well, highschool can be tough for some people, and not so tough for some, but it is highschool, that's all there is, real life begins when you step out of it with the lessons you learnt, got it?" asked Dr. Shaw to which Tim nods.
"Okay, that's about it, anything else?" asked Dr Shaw. "Yeah, I've wanted to ask, have you experienced anything, paranormal?" asked Tim. "Ooooo, spooky, thought you didn't believe in any of those." said Dr. Shaw. "Maybe I should, what about you?" asked Tim.
"Well.. I haven't experienced anything at exact, but, there were, some unusual experience as a doctor in some cases." said Dr. Shaw. "Like what?" asked Tim. "Another time Tim, list of patients waiting." said Dr Shaw. "Alright, how about, Sunday, you free?" asked Tim. "Sure, stop by my house, bye Tim." said Dr. Shaw.
"Bye doc, thanks for the patching, and the advice." said Tim as he leaves. Soon as he approaches out of the Clinic, he sees Afreen looking right in front of him. "Hey, Afreen, right?" asked Tim. "Yeah, Tim, hi (lends her hand, then takes it back after a gulp) I've heard what happened, I'm really sorry about that." said Afreen.
"Why are you being sorry? did Selina sent you?" asked Tim. "Well, she went to talk with Ivan about it, I've wanted to check on you, how are you feeling?" asked Afreen. "I've had worse, but a bit better now." said Tim. "Listen, I uhmm.. I wanted to..." said Afreen before getting interrupted by Tim. "Yes." said Tim. "What?" asked Afreen.
"I know a thing or two about hacking." said Tim to which Afreen starts to spell out something, but struggles remaining speechless. "You need to hack into something?" asked Tim. "I.. why did you?" asked Afreen before getting silenced when Tim speaks. "Other day, you asked me about Ethical hacking, remember?" said Tim. "I didn't, Selina did." said Afreen.
"Well, you brought out the topic first, but uhmm, I'm guessing, that's not it then?" asked Tim. "It is." replied Afreen. "Oh." said Tim. "Yeah, my uhm... my account, I think it's been hacked, there were.. certain things I didn't do, but appeared anyway." said Afreen.
"Huh? what account is it again?" asked Tim. "i********:, yeah, searches and stuff, also the following, some, disturbing images were liked." said Afreen. "Oh, well.. don't worry about it, we'll figure it out." said Tim.
"Oh, okay." said Afreen. "Most accounts are used by unauthorized users when you log in your account in other devices, plus you'll get alerts in your email if someone logs in too." said Tim.
"Yeah, I sort of, forgot the credentials regarding the email I used for my account, the only place I kept it logged in is in my email, so.." said Afreen. "It's fine, I guess, we'll figure something out, try to change your password, if it persists, bring the laptop tomorrow." said Tim.
"Okay, thanks." said Afreen. "Bye." said Tim as he storms away while Afreen is secretly filled with tension and excitement.
Meanwhile, back at the place where Khayun absorbed Pedro and his friends, resulting in a pool of blood which now lies still as an active crime scene where local and are swarming all over the places, with forensics collecting analysis and cops sweep through the woods, as well as investigating the people who are present.
Meanwhile, Harrington, the local cop, looks upon the pool of blood, horrified by what could have done such a thing. Just as he's investigating upon further, he witnesses a familiar car approaching from distance.
As he begins to watch who it is, a woman, revealing to be Detective Sharon who had just arrived the at the crime scene and investigates upon the surroundings further.
"Detective Sharon!" yells Harrington to which she turns and begins to approach while smiling, as she approaches, Harrington, upon the joy of seeing her daughter as a detective, suddenly slips from trampling down on one of the knees. "Dad!" yells Detective Sharon as she runs to Harrington as does the authorities nearby.
"I'm fine, it's nothing I'm really.." said Harrington as he's being held to get up by others just as Detective Sharon arrives. "Are you hurt? how are you feeling?" asked Detective Sharon. "I'm fine, nothing to worry about, it's nothing, go on." said Harrington as the others continue on their works after ensuring he's alright. "How are you feeling?" asked Detective Sharon.
"I'm telling you, it's fine, no heart attack drops, just a trample." said Harrington. "Okay.. but, please be careful." said Detective Sharon. "Oh, I would live to see my daughter run through her first case." said Harrington. "You will, and this, isn't my first case." said Detective Sharon. "Yeah, the cult guys in the woods, isn't it close?" asked Harrington.
"Yeah, a little further away, but the case's been closed, there can't be links to it." said Detective Sharon. "You sure? whatever happened here, it could be a cult." said Harrington. "Maybe, but the case is upto the CSIS when it got closed, I'll run by someone to see if it links, so, what'd else you got for me?" asked Detective Sharon.
"Well.. about a hour, a woman reported a daughter went missing few days ago, this happened, there's nothing unusual of the sorts that happened here, except for the boy and girl who took down a love trip into the woods." said Harrington before getting interrupted by Detective Sharon.
"And let me guess, the girl went missing." said Detective Sharon. "Nopes, the boy did, girl came back with the same blood on her dress, she's in the hospital right now." said Harrington when suddenly a yelling could be heard at a distance to which both look upon each other, then begin to approach.
"I demand to see whoever is in charge here, I need to find him, now!" said the supervisor. "Sir, we're sweeping through the woods, if we find him, we'll let you know." said the cop as both of them approach. "What's going on here?" asked Detective Sharon.
"It's nothing detective, just a small issue." said the cop. "It isn't a small issue! I paid that guy, I demand to know where he is." said the supervisor. "Who?" asked Harrington. "One of my guys, the cosplay crew, last I saw he was taking a leak, dumb bastard ran off with the advance payment I gave him." said the supervisor.
"It's probably nothing, sir, I'll handle it (turns towards the supervisor) did you call him or look by his address?" asked the cop. "Why the hell should I do that? that's your job." said the supervisor.
"Hey! mind your tone, unless you wanna spend time in jail." said Detective Sharon.
"I'm sorry, it's.. it's been a rough time, and.. I really apologize, sorry man." said supervisor to the cop as he nods.
