"Ah, it's fine, how much do you need?" asked Harrington. "But I didn't.." said the supervisor. "Your look gave it away, now, how much?" said Harrington as he looks over to his wallet.
"I appreciate it, but I don't feel comfortable.." said the supervisor as he hands him a small amount of cash. "Thanks, this is (counts the cash) the exact I need, thank you." said the supervisor. "Don't worry about it, (pats on his shoulder) don't take your frustration on your employees." said Harrington.
"I won't and, uhm, I think, I have a small info I can tell, come on." said the supervisor as he goes, signalling them to follow.
Detective Sharon and Harrington look at each other, then follow with the cop to where the supervisor goes, until he reaches a parent whom is sitting by a bench with her child, who first witnessed seeing Khayun.
"Who's this?" asked Detective Sharon. "I didn't think about it much, but.. she told me her child spotted something prior." said the supervisor as the parent, upon hearing them approaches. "What did you see?" asked the cop.
"I didn't, he did (showing the child who's asleep on her shoulders) he's been trying to describe what he saw." said the parent as she looks through one of the drawings he made in the bench and takes out one of them. "There, this is it." said the parent handing over the drawing to Detective Sharon.
The drawing is quite roughly sketched, with his smokey nature depicted as scrambles with black colour pastels, and his red eye, thick as it is in his real nature. "That doesn't look human to be." said the cop. "Kid must have seen the shadow." said Detective Sharon as he hands it back.
"I thought the same too, but he's been acting a little weird, you might notice it when he's awake." said the parent. "Wake him up then." said the cop. "It won't be necessary, bring him down the station if you really want." said Detective Sharon as she turns towards the supervisor.
"As for you, I need all details regarding to your employees, and yours, phone numbers, bank accounts, whatever you can dig up on." said Detective Sharon. Sure, detective." said the supervisor while Detective Sharon turns to the cop. "Make sure to collect the details." said the Detective to the cop as she and Harrington start walking away from the scene.
"What do you think?" asked Detective Sharon. "Well.. my theory? usually, I say something like the employee went to take a leak like he asked with a supervisor, but saw something he wasn't supposed to, which led to a conflict, but when you look at that pool of blood, there's something off about it." said Harrington.
"Me too, whatever happened here, it can't be simple, either someone staged it to play with us, or something big is about to go down." said Detective Sharon. That's up to you to find now, where will you start?" asked Harrington. "I'll have to make some calls, run by some officials as well." said Detective Sharon.
"Perks of being a detective, night duty." said Harrington. "Are you sure, you're gonna be okay? you need me to come along?" asked Detective Sharon.
"I'll be fine, Rizwan is here, I'll catch a ride back home with him, you carry on your duty, don't delay it." said Harrington. "Take care dad." said Detective Sharon. "You too." said Harrington as he bids good bye.
Meanwhile, in the Magnums Bar and Eatery, Selina arrives with Irene and within the entrance, they see Ivan and his friends having drinks after their practice. "There they are, do I really want to do this?" asked Selina.
"I don't know, when it's something like cheating on your best friend's boy friend, it's kinda fine, but this, I get your doubt." said Irene sarcastically. "Urggh.. I thought we were over that, I'm sorry okay, it was just one night." said Selina. "One week, you mean." said Irene. "Okay, gosh, one week, Jacob is a d**k, by the way, I have no idea how you put up with someone like him." said Selina.
"All boys are d***s, some are even assholes, like the one inside." said Irene. "You're right about that, okay, so, how do I do this?" asked Selina. "Make yourself look angry, and pissed off, remember, always talk back to whatever he says." said Irene. "What if he says something really unappropriate?" asked Selina.
"Then you say back some nasty things." said Irene. "Yeah, I can do that, (breaths deeply) okay, come on." said Selina as he walks towards the window and ragingly taps at it. Ivan and his friends turn aside to see Selina and Irene.
"Wow, dude, it's your chick." said one of Ivan's friend. "Ahh.. damm.. she's horny, I can tell." said another one of Ivan's friend. "Shut up, I got this." said Ivan as he gets up from the chair and walks out of the bar while Selina ragingly looks at him. "Hey! you're Ivan, right?" asked Selina. "Yeah, what'd up?" asked Ivan. "What up? are you freaking kidding me?" said Selina.
"I just said hi, what's wrong with that." said Ivan. "First of all, you didn't say, you said what'd up, like we're hookers, and you're hiring us or something." said Irene. "God, Irene, that's gross." said Selina. "His comment." said Irene. "Look, this is how I talk, okay?" said Ivan.
"Ah, really? so your behaviour is naturally thinking all girls are your hookers, is that it?" asked Selina. "What? I didn't say that." said Ivan. "You meant it actually." said Irene. "What do you want?" asked Ivan. "I wanna know exactly, why you used my name, for your personal rough housing or something." said Selina to which Ivan smiles. "Girl, that's not, that's not how you say it." said Irene.
"Okay... then how, exactly?" asked Selina with Irene. "So, that's why you're here, Tim told on you, god, that b***h, I'm gonna wack him." said Ivan. "Hey! you listen, you listen here big time! I'm already pissed off, and depressed about dating muscular, attractive athletes, and in no way, I'm going down that road again, got it? whoever I talk to, is none of your concern." said Selina in rage. "Now, you got it, go on." replied Irene. "Selina, he's a d**k, okay, he asked for your pics in class, I've warned him, that's all." said Ivan.
"That's all, seriously? wow, you're a lousy liar, isn't he?" asked Selina as he begins to fake being drunk out of a sudden. "He is, definitely." said Irene as she too follows her steps. "Are you drunk or something?" asked Ivan. "Yeah, yeah! I am, full bottle b***h! I'm not a sippy cup like you! and you! listen, Tim, would never do something like that." said Selina. "Really, how would you know?" asked Ivan.
"Cuz he's a hacker, Ivan, an ethical one." said Irene. "Hacker? Tim?" asked Ivan in confusion. "Yes, exactly, he will ethically hack, into any one of our phones if he wanted to, why the hell, would he ask my pic?" asked Selina. "s**t, s**t!" yells Ivan in frustration as he pounds off on the window.
"Yeah! that's right! wait, why is he upset?" asked Selina as Ivan's friends, seeing Ivan being worried, begin approaching him. "I knew it, it had to be him, freaking i***t screwed with my life!" yells Ivan as he kicks repeatedly while his friends approach him worried.
"Yo, Ivan, what's going on?" asked one of Ivan's friend. "It's him, Tim, freaking Tim Blake, he messed with our scholarships!" said Ivan. "Wait, what scholarships?" asked Selina. "Weeks after our last game, a college scout from Vancouver agreed to take us out on a scholarship, said us to apply for it, which he did, but.." said one of Ivan's friend.
"But what?" asked Irene. "Application's been tampered, the coach is yelling us about how we played with our lives with we replaced our names with butt jokes and dicks." said Ivan to which Irene almost chuckles but covers her mouth.
"Heh.. seems funny to you, isn't it, but it wasn't for us, it was our lives, our only shot at proving to everyone we weren't just thick headed freaks who can't do anything right than playing football, now everything's gone, the bastard played with all our lives." said Ivan. "I can't believe he did that." said Selina.
"Well.. everyone's got a dark side, don't they?" said Ivan to which Selina does nothing but remain still. "Guess I learnt my lesson, thank you." said Ivan as he hands over his cap to Selina's hand.
"Come on guys, nothing to see here, let's head home." said one of Ivan's friends as he and the others start leaving away. "Wow, that took a wide turn of events, but damm.. Tim hit him where it hurts." said said Irene. "Why would Tim do something like this?" asked Selina. "Cuz he can, damm.. you weren't kidding about Tim having his own specialities." said Irene.
"This isn't a joke, Irene, he played with their lives." said Selina. "And they played with his, look, they got what they wanted." said Irene. "This isn't right, Irene, this is wrong, what happened to Tim, we can fix that, but this, all of their lives are ruined." said Selina.
"Woah, didn't realize you of all people had a heart." said Irene. "What is that supposed to mean?" asked Selina. "I mean, minutes ago, you didn't really care about how much Tim was beaten, you were only pissed off cuz they used your name as a reason." said Irene.
"I wasn't being serious about that, Irene." said Selina. "Exactly, why you're being serious about this one?" asked Irene. "I didn't.. wait, why are you taking Tim's side?" asked Selina.
"I am not taking anyone's side Selina, I feel pissed off about the way you think." said Irene. "What do I think?" asked Selina.
"Yeah, a kid gets bullied and beaten, which is nothing serious, but when he takes back his frustration at them, it's wrong." said Irene.
