"Thank the heaven, he didn't stay here." said Khayun as he relieves himself while the person beside whom he haven't caught a glimpse off.
"I take it, you didn't attend Jessica's call?" asked the person beside him to which Khayun realises is a person sent from Creed itself to keep a close watch on him, hence the confusion within the seats.
"Yes, and you are Mr?" asked Khayun as the flight takes off. "Dr Sayeed Hussain, please, call me Sayeed." said a person as Khayun turns towards him, revealing his appearance to be the very same person who once experimented on Sharon a long time ago within his Asylum. "Sayeed huh? I've heard of the name before." said Khayun.
"You must have, after all, I did run a Asylum in Brampton, my main ideologies are based on the theories of Jinn possession and the existences of them." said Sayeed. "You've experimented on my people, and you dare say that directly to me?" asked Khayun.
"Oh please, Mr Tim, I didn't mean anything hostile, my main intention was always to help the people or Jinn in need, once it is reconciled, born parties will either depart or find a way to live amongst themselves, take you for an example." said Sayeed.
"You do know that I'm not Tim right?" asked Khayun. "Oh yes, I'm aware, but you know what they say, what you wear is what you are, for now, you are Timothy Blake, and you must believe you are, in order to avoid unintended consequences." said Sayeed.
"I don't usually give a s**t about it." said Khayun. "I can see that, but then again, you've agreed to this, so, why not?" said Sayeed. "Why are you here Sayeed? I'm not a Jinn for you to study, I already gave everything they've asked for." asked Khayun.
"Of course, you gave more than what they asked for, but that is not why I am here." said Sayeed. "Then to keep a eye on me I assume?" asked Khayun. "That position is already filled up, I am here for the same purpose as you do." said Sayeed.
"Which is?" asked Khayun.
"To find out the truth, Mr Tim, why the existence of Nagas are kept in secret, and why does a Jinn help them?" asked Sayeed. "This Naga thing might be even fake for all we know, there hasn't been a live subject in years." said Khayun to which Sayeed chuckles.
"I wasn't joking or being stupid, why are you laughing?" asked Khayun. "Not laughing really, more of.. realisation." said Sayeed. "Of what?" asked Khayun. "Of how gravely you need my help, you do know so little." said Sayeed.
"It's not like you're briefing on things that I do not know." said Khayun. "Well.. valid point, but what I'm trying to say is.. not everything written in pen and paper are the truth, there are things that meets the eye most, and sometimes, they're hidden away for people to not to see." said Sayeed.
"I get that you love to talk in riddles, but I don't want to waste my time figuring it out, so why don't you speak to me direct to the point while you keep your riddles elsewhere?" asked Khayun. "Ahh.. I understand, what I mean is, you are here to discover a secret, that doesn't mean you are covered in truth, sometimes you can be blinded by it." said Sayeed.
"You know what? just shut up, inform Jessica I'm on my way if you can." said Khayun as he send over his phone as Sayeed smiles and takes the phone and begins to type something.
While Khayun notices from front how Afreen is struggling, seeing how the seats she booked got confused, Khayun gets his phone back with the note written
"Do not believe what they tell you, they are watching us" which Khayun reads and realises why Sayeed keeps talking in riddles. "Right.. thanks." said Khayun as he puts his phone back in his pocket after reading it.
Soon, as the flight reaches its destination, Khayun and the others depart from the flight and meet within the airport where they head to take their baggage.
Just as Khayun heads forward, Afreen rushes out to meet him once again, since not having the opportunity to speak to him prior. "Hey." said Afreen. "Hello, I mean, hey?" said Khayun with a awkward. "What a journey huh? pretty quiet one." said Afreen. "Yeah, it is.." said Khayun. "So, uhm.. now that we've arrived, do you ever want to meet?" asked Afreen right before her brother calls out her name.
"Get the bags and meet us, hurry." yelled Nailah who stands beside him. "Right, sure, I'll be there, sorry." said Afreen as she turns towards Tim after talking with Nailah. "Yes, I suppose, I'll think about it." said Khayun.
"Okay, yeah.. thanks." said Afreen as him and her head out to grab their baggage and just as their done, Afreen bids goodbye and rushes out quickly to meet with her cousins as Khayun relieves from finally having escaped from her presence.
"Trouble in paradise?" asked a familiar voice revealed to be Dr Sayeed Hussain. "You again where the hell did you go?" asked Khayun.
"Restroom, apparently the hostess locked me in, had a bit of situation before I could get out, anyway (reaches out his pocket and grabs a card and offers it to Khayun) my card, it has all my details, call me if you need assistance, and I'll call you if I need any." said Sayeed. "I thought we're both on the same task." said Khayun.
"We are, just not the same angle, see you soon, Tim, my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother." said Sayeed as he departs. "And they say I'm creepy, whatever." said Khayun as he too heads forward, where he looks for Tim's uncle and not knowing who it is, he calls out to his number.
"Hello, Uncle Rafai? I'm here." said Khayun as he notices a van approaching his way with a hand waving at him, one he confirms it to be the uncle he was talking to.
After having the van reached his way, the wife of Rafai, Shiara rushes to hug him with a saddened look. "Woah.. what the.." said Khayun having been caught fully in surprise. "I'm so sorry for your loss beta, your mother loved you so much." cried Shiara as Uncle Rafai approaches to break the hug. "Enough, enough, he just arrived now, let him ease up first dear." said Uncle Rafai. "He looks just like her, like both of them." said Shiara.
"Yes, that's why he is their son, now come on, let's talk back at home." said Uncle Rafai as he leads him to his van and rides out his way back to his home. Whilst the journey, Khayun remains in quiet of not knowing how to respond to their grief while his Aunt hasn't stopped crying from all the way back. "That's enough weeping Shiara, I miss her, Tim misses her, we all do, weeping isn't going to bring her back." said Rafai.
"I.. I can't control it.. seeing him after so many years, it brought all the pain back." said Shiara. "Pain? what do you mean? where?" asked Khayun. "She means the emotional pain putha, speaking of, did you come alone? Dr Shaw said you were arriving with a friend." said Rafai. "Yeah, I did, they paid for my ticket actually, but then they left." said Khayun. "I see, do not worry about anything Tim, everything has been arranged for you, we will all take care of you, for as long as you need, no need to worry about anything for a single second, I know we can't replace your mother, but we will try our best, okay?" asked Rafai.
"Noted, thanks, so, am I going to stay in a hotel?" asked Khayun to which Rafai and Shiara stand surprised which he notices. "Did I say something wrong?" asked Khayun. "Oh, it's just.. we're heading to your house." said Rafai. "I have a house? since when?" asked Khayun.
"Since she arrived, she told us you were the one insisted her to buy, you never knew about it?" asked Rafai. "I haven't even talked to her since the day she left, if that's what you're asking." said Khayun. "Oh god, I'm truly sorry putha, your mother had her tempers, but.. I'm sure you miss her." said Shiara.
"We would have contacted you at least once if we had your details, your mother kept it quiet, until she.. (wipes his tears and smiles) well.. we talk about later right, better be glad, I'm finally getting to see my nephew again." said Rafai.
"Yeah.. I guess so, thanks." said Khayun. "And don't worry for a single second about staying there alone, we are here, we will be there for as long as you need, If you're departing, we'll help you sell it, or rent it, whatever you need putha." said Shiara.
"Alright, got it, phew... I can see why he's so emotional now, drama queen runs in the family." whispered Khayun to himself thinking about Tim.
Soon, they reach towards their house where rest of the family await to meet him with eagerness.
As soon as the van reaches their house, Khayun feels almost like a popular celebrity when he stumbles into his house which is filled with so many relatives Tim never knew existed. As they greet him worn eagerness one by one, Rafai approaches like a bodyguard, helping him get over the crowd while the rest of his relatives help him get his baggage out.
As he enters the house, the vast amount of space within the house amazes him, since he had never seen such place after his arrival to Earth. "This place is huge." said Khayun to which Rafai chuckles.
"Well, your mother always picked the best for you, she always said you and your family will one day settle her and she'll be a eldest grandparent, eh.. but fate planned something else for her." said Rafai as he welcomes Khayun as he would for his own son.
