Chapter 15

Tim yearns to go with his mother, but yet again, he is unable to due to Khayun. "It is alright Tim, get in the car." said his mother. "Mom, I.. I can't, please, let's stay here." said Tim. "No! no, no, please, come with me, Tim, please, don't, don't do this." said his mother. "I'm sorry, I just..." cried Tim to which his mother slowly takes steps away.

"Mom, stop please." said Tim to which his mother doesn't respond and turns away and heads into the taxi as Tim continues crying. Soon as she leaves in the taxi, Tim falls on his knees and begins weeping for his mother's departure. "Why? why?" asked Tim. "You know exactly why, now is not the.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Tim.

"Shut up okay, shut up! you've done enough! what, what do you want from me?" asked Tim. "I want to be free just as much as you do, but there isn't a way right now." said Khayun. "So, you wanna just keep me here, live inside me while you imprisoned me here?" asked Tim.

"What do you want me to say? I'm not your friend, it was a mistake to imbue myself to you, but I cannot simply give away my goals due your family drama bull shit." said Khayun. "Family drama? that was my mother, you sick psycho, and she's gone.. the only person who was always there for me, is now gone, thanks to you." said Tim.

"You're welcome, now get up back on your feet." said Khayun to which Tim remains still, until he eventually gets up and starts the bike. He races the bike thoroughly before starting and gets on it and begins heading straight. "Where are you going? your home is that way." asked Khayun.

"I'm not heading to my home, I'm heading to yours." said Tim as he races to the maximum and begins to let go of his bike. "Tim, what are you doing? stop! don't do this." said Khayun.

"Now you know what it's like to be helpless, see you in hell bitch." said Tim as he turns away his leg and jumps off into the woods aside at a rapid speed, severely injuring himself as he drops down.

Moments pass as Detective Sharon drives through the same lane Tim crashed onto, as he drives, the bike Tim had let go is fallen on the surface, immediately drawing her suspicion.

"What the hell.." said Detective Sharon as she gets down from the car and runs towards the bike to see it's keys intact and engine still hot, she pulls off the key and walks ahead until she is few metres away from where Tim jumped off.

Seeing as something is not right, she calls out to the police and informs the situation while having a look around above while Tim lies below the cliff in the woods, with his head injured quiet critically. Khayun attempts to try free himself from Tim but despite his best effort, Khayun is pulled back into his body. "You dumb idiot." said Khayun as he once again pushes his full effort to try and get himself out of him.

After making the call, Detective Sharon walks out through the woods on a random hunch, and just as she walks, she notices blood on a branch, she continues walking until she comes across the edge of a small cliff.

As she looks below, Khayun almost manages to break himself free, almost tearing himself from Tim which Detective Sharon witnesses and becomes horrified. "Stop right there!" yelled Detective Sharon as she fires at Khayun which goes through thin air as Khayun is pulled back into Tim.

"No way." said Detective Sharon as she calls once again. "Hey, I found the body, looks like he's still alive." said Detective Sharon as Tim slowly gasps.

As Tim wakes up from being unconscious for period of unknown time to him, he catches few glimpses of people carrying him upwards, then carrying him through the hospital stretcher. He quickly fades back into sleep as they take him to ICU Room.

Hours pass as Dr. Shaw's wife wait outside when Afreen with a couple of her friends arrive outside the ICU. "I came soon as I could, what happened?" asked Afreen. "Critical accident, Percy said it was a miracle he survived despite injures." said Maggy. "He's gonna be okay, right?" asked Irene.

"I hope so too, I have no idea how it happened, it was all because of that stupid bike, I told him not to touch that." cried Maggy. "It's going to be fine, Mrs Shaw, he's recovering right, he'll be okay, we will all pray for it." said Afreen. "Thank you.." said Maggy as she continues conversing with her.

Meanwhile, back at Mark's shop, Mark finally manages to get the phone working, just as he browsers through it, he becomes quite confused how a cop got a phone of a cosplay worker whom Mark thinks as clown, as he browses through he clicks the latest video it recorded, showing the complete incident of Khayun approaching to save the girl in his form and evolving into something demonic as he eats the boys.

"Oh my.. holy shit.." said Mark when suddenly he gets a news alert on his phone, showing the pic of Tim Blake which immediately grabs his attention, he clicks through the news and begins to get ready. As he exits through the door, a customer approaches but sees him locking the place.

"You're closing?' asked the customer. "Yeah, yeah we are.. what seems to be the problem?" asked Mark. "I needed to get a headphones, that's all, if it's possible." asked the customer. "Okay, alright come on, quick." said Mark as he re opens his shop.

Meanwhile, in the neighborhood houses few blocks from Mark's work place, a child gets in his house and closes the door. "Hon, is that you?" asked a feminine voice.

"It's me mom." said the child. "Jim? you came walking again? what did I say about not coming until dad arrives?" asked the feminine voice as she approaches the child, revealing to be a young mother.

"Sorry mom, I waited for hours, but dad never came." said child. "Jesus, he must have hit the liquor store again, okay, fine, go take a shower, I'll make you something to eat." said the young mother. "No, the cartoon, I have to watch." said the child as he pushes his mother away, rushing into the living room as he turns on the TV. "Hey, what sort of behaviour is that?" asked his mother following the child as he watches a cartoon with a character appearing in it doing inappropriate things at the beginning of the show itself.

Seeing this, the mother becomes horrified as she pulls out the remote from him and turns off the TV to which he becomes furious. "Turn on the TV, right now!" yelled his child. "No! you're not supposed to watch that! go back to your room right now!" yelled back his mother to which he runs away back to his room. She quickly takes her phone to call her husband but suddenly gets a phone call which she accidentally answers.

"Shit.." said the young mother as she listening to the phone call to hear a person breathing heavily on the phone. "Hello? hello, is anyone there?" asked the young mother to which the heavy breathing turns to a unusual moaning which becomes so loud she takes it away from her ear and hangs up the call.

Before she could turn back, a person behind her suddenly stabs her repeatedly at the back with a large kitchen knife until she drops down, revealing his appearance to be the same character from the cartoon who vanishes away after the stabbing.

Soon, as the blood flows all over the floor, the TV turns back on by itself playing the same cartoon and turns the volume to maximum. Hearing this, the child returns back to see his mother's fresh dead body and upon seeing it he begins to cry pleadingly.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Tim slowly wakes up from his unconsciousness to see a nurse tending to his monitor. "What.. what the..." said Tim with difficulty when the nurse hears and relives. "You're awake, how are you feeling Tim?" asked the nurse.

"Wait.. I'm alive?" asked Tim. "Yes, yes you are.. one minute, I'll be back." said the nurse as she goes to bring back the doctor. "Shit..." said Tim. "Welcome back Tim." said Khayun in his head. "You? you're still here?" asked Tim. "Unluckily, I am, listen I've got some bad news to say." said Khayun. "Shut up, you won't let me live, you won't let me die, what the hell do you want?" asked Tim.

"Nothing more than a little cooperation, now is not the time for that, we have real trouble to deal with." said Khayun. "Not we, you, you deal with your problems, I'm not helping you shit." said Tim. "The detective knows." said Khayun. "What?" asked Tim when suddenly Dr. Shaw with the nurse arrives. "Hey bud, what do you mean what?" asked Dr. Shaw. "Keep your voice down kid, you want the doctor to know too?" asked Khayun.

"I'm sorry, my head it's a little.." said Tim. "It's alright, head can be dizzy at times, thank god, you're alright, and, you're recovering quite quickly to be honest." said Dr. Shaw. "What? what do you mean?' asked Tim. "In my five years of service, I've never seen anything like this, your bones, injures, it's all healing by itself, I never thought you could recover fully to be honest, it's a miracle you're alive bud, god worked in your favour again." said Dr. Shaw.

"Way to steal the credit, can't a jinn work in people's favour sometimes?" asked Khayun. "I can't believe it.' said Tim. "Neither can I, but we.. are glad you're alive bud." said Dr. Shaw.
