"I should be furious at you for what you did, but.. it worked in my favour." said Khayun. "Huh.. did.. did you inform mom about this?" asked Tim. "Uhmm no, Tim, not yet, she isn't attending Maggy's or my calls." said Dr. Shaw. "Oh, it's.. it's for the best, don't inform her yet." said Tim. "Yeah, with your recovery rate, you'll be back in shape in no time." said Dr. Shaw.
"I'm recovering that fast huh?" asked Tim as a nurse gets in the room. "Not just fast, you're evolving (the nurse approaches Dr. Shaw and whispers in his ear) oh shit.. okay Tim, I gotta go, I'm sorry, it's a emergency." said Dr. Shaw. "Yeah, it's fine, I could use some time.. alone." said Tim looking at the other nurses present in the room.
"You heard what he said, come on, take care Tim." said Dr. Shaw as he leaves with everyone else in the room, leaving Tim alone. "So... this worked in your favour huh? how?" asked Tim with Khayun. "While you were snoring, my abilities were growing over time, it gave me the strength to make some.. alterations to your body, making it more flexible and acrobatic." said Khayun.
"You've changed my body? wait.. I.. feel something. different, wait, did you.." said Tim before getting interrupted by Khayun. "Focus on the matter for now, we'll worry about others later, the detective, Sharon, I believe they called her, she saw me." said Khayun. "How? how did she see you?" asked Tim. "Your detour left us stranded in the roads, had I left a few more seconds, I would have freed myself from you, but the pathetic human intervened! distracted me from my freedom as I got pulled back into you " said Khayun.
"Oh, how sad." said Tim sarcastically to which Khayun pulls Tim's hand upward and slaps his face. "Ow.." said Tim. "That was for being an i***t, I should have given this first!" yelled Khayun. "What, why?" asked Tim. "What the hell were you thinking? you could have killed us both!" yelled Khayun. "What do you want me to do? you forced me to shun away my own mother! this was my reaction." said Tim. "Fool! did I say I will forever imprison you in this town?" asked Khayun. "That wasn't your plan? wait, I thought you said till your affairs are done, you will be inside me." said Tim.
"Exactly, till my affairs are done, once it is, I will be free to go, and you can go wherever you want, Ceylan or even the freaking moon for all I care." said Khayun. "What are you affairs again, and mostly importantly, who the hell are you? I did a few research on Jinns, but.. other than your name and that follome incident, I do not know a single thing about you." said Tim.
"My history is none of your concern, last time I told someone, they nearly killed me." said Khayun. "And I, nearly did the same, didn't I? look, you can either tell or not, it's your choice, but I do not have a single clue of what's going on here, and if you continue keeping me in the dark, incidents like this are bound to happen." said Tim.
"Fine, you wish to hear my complete story? is that it, I shall tell you that, what have I got to lose anyway, but, no more suicide attempts, our deal stands, once it is done.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Tim. "Yeah, I can go back to my mom, I get it, now spill me the details, and most importantly, what is your affairs exactly?" asked Tim.
Meanwhile a few hour passes as the murder of the young mother, now an active crime scene investigated by Detective Murphy who is investigating the husband after becoming sober from being drunk. "And you're sure your wife has no enemies, an affair maybe, has she.." asked Detective Murphy before getting interrupted by the husband.
"No, I.. she.. well.. I mean, she isn't the affair having type, when I wanted a divorce, she neglected." said the husband. "You wanted a divorce, why?" asked Detective Sharon when suddenly Detective Sharon's car arrives by the road to which he sees and sighs. "Jesus, (turns towards the husband) okay we'll continue later, don't leave town." said Detective Murphy as he approaches Detective Sharon as she gets down from the car and approaches.
"Hey Murph." said Detective Sharon. "Sharon what the hell are you doing here?" asked Detective Murphy. "To investigate, detective Murphy, thank you for the heads-up by the the way." said Sharon. "I didn't give you any heads up." replied Murphy. "I know, I was being sarcastic." said Sharon to which Murphy smirks. "Go home Sharon." said Murphy. "I can't, it's a crime scene now, so is this place, with the exact details." said Sharon.
"Yes, there are some details, which I'm investigating." said Murphy. "You aren't fast enough, you're interrogating the husband, who was miles away from the incident." said Sharon. "So he says." said Murphy. "So he proves when the footage down the wineshop shows clear footage of him being drunk inside his car." said Sharon. "Yeah, yeah, I got it, look, this isn't your case, okay? I know we had our differences prior, and with what happened with your dad." said Murphy.
"I'm here to do my job, nothing else, so you better stop bringing personal issues into it." said Sharon. "God, Shar.. I'm not, urgh.. okay, okay, fine, but you're off duty now." said Detective Murphy. "Unless you call upon me for help, remember? when investigating crimes, or did you forget?" asked Sharon. "I didn't, but.. Sher... your dad is in the hospital, he needs someone to be there for him, what if killer got to him there?" asked Murphy. "He'll get caught, police protection are already installed, and I'm a detective, not a body guard, I could help you get him before he targets someone else, why won't you let me help you?" asked Sharon.
"This is my case! okay? my case, I decide whether I want you or not." said Murphy to which Sharon grabs Murphy by his collar.
"Listen very carefully, I know you're pretty pissed off ever since I got by badge, and despite the fact you're being this nice guy over what happened to my father isn't going to change our relationship, understand? (releases him) hell, I don't even care who catches him, you want the good name, you get it, as long as the person who stabbed my father is out there, I won't rest, understand?" asked Sharon to which Murphy gets furious, but calms himself down and thinks about the offer, until he eventually comes to a decision.
"Fine, you wanna help me with the case? alright, but.. this is my case, got it?" asked Murphy. "Yeah, alright.. now, what do you got so far?" asked Murphy. "I've got some details through my own sources, but, if you want my help, tell me entirely of what happened." said Sharon. "What's there to tell, okay, a mother sends out a kid from watching TV, then she gets a call, and when she hangs up, someone from behind stabs her, in the exact way Harrington was, according to forensics." said Murphy.
"Was there a break in?" asked Sharon. "No, not this time, we have CCTV footages of the front door and back, no one came in other than the child." said Murphy. "That doesn't make any sense, then how did the killer get in?" asked Sharon. "Either he climbed on the walls away from the camera and got on through the window, or he went Santa Klaus, I thought maybe the footage was altered to make sure no one could be caught." said Murphy.
"Altered the footage?" asked Sharon. "It's just a theory, okay? it's much better than what the child said." said Murphy. "The kid talked? what did she say" asked Sharon. "You mean he, well.. he saw a cartoon I guess, everyday after school, the cartoon warned him of killing if he skips to watch it, or someone makes him, his mom didn't listen so, sneaky came out of the TV and killed him." said Murphy. "Who's sneaky? and did the kid witness the murder?" asked Sharon.
"Nope, he was upstairs, but kid is pretty darn about sneaky, sneaky is the character of the cartoon, titled Sneaky Bitch." said Murphy. "Sneaky b***h? what type of channel would broadcast that type of cartoon?" asked Sharon. "That's the funny thing, there isn't." said Murphy. "What do you mean?" asked Sharon. "There is no channel or any cartoon with that name, either the kid had hallucinations, which is why he's at the hospital, or someone made sure to pull a very specific prank to make fun of us." said Murphy. "I need to talk with the kid, where is he?" asked Sharon.
"Alascad State Hospital, look, this is a kid, alright? the Husband, he did this." said Murphy. "A drunk husband who slept in the car did this? why?" asked Sharon. "He wanted a divorce, he just confessed me, the only guy who had keys to the house." said Murphy. "And the only guy who wasn't anywhere near his wife during the murder." said Sharon.
"He doesn't need to do it himself, it's the twenty first century, people log in through dark web and buy all sorts of s**t online, you think he couldn't have hired a g*n to do the murder himself and alter the footage?" asked Murphy.
"He's a drunk asshole, Murphy, not a computer clerk, he can't even pay his bills, why would he kill someone who does it for him?" asked Sharon.
"Okay, so, maybe not him, but someone else must have caused this to her a payback, I know it, and.. it cannot, and will never be some cartoon character from a imaginary cartoon, okay? this is something personal." said Murphy. "Okay, then what about my dad? was it some personal issue too?" asked Sharon.
