Ze was feeling sick. He felt the change in his body, meaning that she had woken her powers, but the way she had done it, it was sickening him, literally. Nobody ever has seen a sick vampire, but there he was, the exception to the rule. His assistant entered the dark room, and even though she was with him for some time now, she was afraid to approach his bed. He could feel her fear, and before he was excited by that, but now, remembering the cause of his sickness, he was no more.
He was having the biggest house with the world's highest alarm system. He had been prepared for this moment for years, so it was stupid of him now to feel sorry. He needed to act accordingly and she will have her back, in no time.
