Godric Rothschild is in his study, reading his book of the month. The family patriarch has submitted himself to reading recently. His goal was to read at least four books a month and, so far, he is not very far from his goal. Isabel chooses what her father’s next book to read was, and she kept the pile of books coming. She designated herself that task when their father showed interest in her favorite hobby. The girl reads a lot and even had an entire room renovated for her collection of books. Alfred and Anthony were impressed at their father’s newest take on how to pass time without spending money. They used to throw jokes about it but eventually realized that it was their fault why he’s bored anyway. He’s upset that the one thing that money can’t buy is the one thing he can’t have. God
