Archie’s POV:
God, how can someone say no to this kid? I mean, no one can say no to those puppy dog eyes. This kid is cute and because I stand by my belief that I look like him---to be sure, I need to dig into the archives of my childhood to prove my point. Or maybe ask Isabel to shed some light. Of course, it’s easier to compare when you have solid evidence and mine are heavily pixelated photographs.
What I don’t get is why the f*ck am I feeling and acting this way towards a kid who called me his daddy. Maya was obviously reluctant about my unannounced presence, but like me, she was so taken by Aspen’s sweetness and cuteness that I am one hundred percent sure that if this kid asks me for a Lambo, I’d purchase it without batting an eye.
