Damn you woman!
I was not expecting her to take the bait. She took the bait, hook, line and sinker. Ollie’s face said it all. Like me, she was also shocked that my new wife took me by surprise. One of these days, Ollie will use the way I reacted to a single kiss to her advantage.
Her eyes were glistening, and her face said, “She got you good! She got you real good! The Mydas boss is a wuss!”
Of course, Ollie would not say that out loud. But we’ve worked together long enough to get what the slightest body language means. In the same manner, my closest peers know me well, like the back of their hands.
Primrose did not only show me that she’s a force to reckon with, but she’s someone who's up to face whatever challenge was presented to her by anyone just to get to Aspen.
