Alexis' POV The walk home felt weird and it scared me, it felt like people were watching me the whole time but when I turned around to check nobody was there. Maybe I'm just paranoid... whether I am paranoid or not I sped my pace. I don't know whether it was just me but as I sped up I heard two pairs of footsteps coming from behind me. I turned around after I came to a halt but yet again, nobody was there. I felt my stomach churn with fear as I thought about two people after me, wanting to kill me. Tears pricked my eyes but I frantically wiped them away and ran the rest of the way to my house. I ignored the footsteps and fastened my pace, fearing the worst. At this point I rather be with my abusive father than out here. I finally saw my street and turned, feeling more adrenaline rush
