15. Lesson of Life

I woke up in the morning and felt so sleepy because I spent all night to study. Jamie has already gone for his errands so that I needed to be hurry before the test started.

I quickly took bath and rushed to the campus. Then I saw Jamie called me.

"You are awake."

"Of course I can not sleep that long or I will lose my opportunity to be a doctor." I grinned as mentioning my biggest dream.

"I had prepared your breakfast in the dining room. Just grab those, you can take it while you go for your test. I also asked my driver to take you to your campus so that you can eat and spend more time to study thoroughly."

"Wow so thoughtful. I never knew that you have driver."

"Of course, I never want to be taken anywhere but this time is different. It is for your own good."

"Ok, thank you for making me special. I guess I have to find him now."

"You are special. Just ask the front office for the driver of mine. And darling, good luck for your test."

"Thank you dear."

"I will go for some days. Don't be naughty and dream about me. I am gonna miss you."

"I am not that type Jamie. See you soon."

"Text me if you are in trouble."

"Ya, take care dear."

I left his hotel and off to my campus. With this good feeling, I was sure that I can do the test well.

Becoming a doctor will always be my great accomplish. I have always dreamed of it and I really hope I can make it. The struggle for completing this campus life was not easy, yet it was worth to try. Sometimes life will not give you easy way to reach your goals, it will also give you a lot of obstacles to roar your grit and pursue your great ability. I will never know that I can do these things if I did not try.

That is why I will always how my best effort to make do in my study.

The obstacle that I have during my journey were not also coming from the study but also from the surrounding to accomplish the mission. No wonder that Confucius stated that the journey of a thousand miles begin with one step. I had given my first step to join the medical school and now I have to follow the journey to make me into a proud and persistent doctor.

I am glad that Jamie can take a part in my journey, his presence was always there no matter how and what he does. His aura keeps staying in every step I take. I do hope that our relation can be a good condition till the death take us apart. My death actually, for I know that he can live forever.

"Hi Mandy." Annie called me as I entered the test class.

"Hi there. So are you really prepared for our battle?" We always think that the tests are our battle that need to be struggled.

"I am. And I am sure you too."

"Hopefully. Jamie taught me last night."

"He is a doctor ya. I forget that part."

"Yes he is, Annie, I am so in love with him."

"No wonder, you kept me waiting for hours before telling me that you are not coming home. You forget me." Annie teased me and I just realized that I spent too much time with Jamie rather than with her nor Andy.

"I will make up to you."

"And how are you going to do that?"

"I am yours for the next one week."

"Why is that? Jamie left you again?"

"Yes he is."

"Someone is missing here."

"Do not make fun of me." Annie chuckled as I gave her the sad face

"So how is the love birds and how does he taste?"

"You!!!"

We were shut up as the lecturer came to our class. God, please help me to end this test well, and I hope Annie will have the same.
