Tharros paced about his study with nothing but rage and confusion. He thought he was saving Malakai but he ended getting burnt. Ethan had called a couple of times asking for the progress report on Luca’s disappearance but he couldn’t give an answer. How the hell was he going to tell him that the daughter he gave up everything to protect was Malakai’s ransom. “Sir, what are we going to do now?”
Orion asked.
“Nothing, we just have to find a different way out. It’s impossible to negotiate with a criminal, a shame I had to learn the hard way.” Tharros confessed.
