Chapter 26
Luca stood by the side watching how Ethan and Malakai tore each other apart and his heart gloried in the fact that Ethan appeared to be on the lead with Malakai struggling for life on the floor. He turned to meet the clawing hands of Gunther. His grip wasn’t firm on him but as soon as the orb opened, he pulled Luca and himself in. He recognized him the last time when Malakai asked that they be brought to his castle before they were allowed out of the city.
When the orbs closed, Malakai was too battered to think straight. Gunther gave the orders for him to be beaten and chained up. Malakai regained himself after some hours patting Gunther on the shoulders for not letting their confrontation in Moonstone go to waste.
