Axel led Whitney through the abandoned doorway. It was where he was hiding and wasn’t discovered. He knew his way around it and held them carefully past it. Gunther stood on the balcony and his eyes fell on Axel and Whitney, escaping with Luca and Odessa. He attempted to raise an alarm, but his hurt ego prevented him. His father sealed his faith in his professional guards and not him, hence he pressed his legs to the ground as he watched the captives scurry away.
Axel ignited the engine, while Whitney positioned Odessa and Luca’s weak bodies in the back seat.
“Why are you taking so long?”
Axel queried.
“Don’t use that tone on me. Can’t you see, they both look like lifeless baggage? If I don’t position them properly, they will suffer from body pain!”
