Whitney froze in place string at Odessa.
“Come off it, I have more pressing issues than Luca.”
Odessa’s eyes sparked. She pulled Whitney with her to a quiet spot and let her vulnerable self find expression. She couldn’t fathom the bits of her life, she had powers that were threatening to consume her and now had to face the complex truth of her identity.
“So wait, you are a werewolf and a vampire…and a human! Woah! That’s the coolest I’ve ever had!”
