Starlight Academy is the most prestigious school in Korea (more accurately in Asia). Only the rich can afford to attend and the most talented people are given scholarships.

Everleigh, a seemingly ordinary Singaporean girl, got accepted into the Starlight International High School, as a 11th Grade student. It is extremely rare for the school to accept new students, especially for those not starting from the first year. In fact, there were no such cases ever in history. Everleigh was an exception. This puts Everleigh in the centre of attention, with everyone trying to find out about her identity.

Kyle, a Korean boy born with a silver spoon in his mouth, has studied at Starlight Academy since young. He is good-looking and talented too. The ideal for many teenage girls but have never spared any of them a glance. When Kyle is forced to work with Everleigh, she becomes a target of jealous girls from affluent families.

Follow Everleigh as she learns to survive in the World of the Rich and finds love in the process.

As my grandfather is at work, I also tell her that I will call again at night so that they would not worry too much about me. After living in Singapore for 16 years, I am moving to Korea for further studies at the Starlight International High School. Starlight Academy is the most prestigious school in Asia. It is the best school for children to realise their dreams as it is widely known that most students from the Academy become successful in their careers after graduating. Rich and famous families with high social statuses, from all parts of Asia and sometimes other parts of the world, will send their children to attend school at the Academy. By moving to Korea, I hope to be close to my parents again. Korea is my mother's home country. When she got married to my father, they decided to settle in his home country to raise their children but continued managing their businesses in Korea. While my parents travel rather frequently to Korea for work purposes, they will do so alone and leave me with my grandparents in Singapore. After I grew up, they started staying in Korea for longer periods of time. Even though they still contact me frequently, I wish I am by their side. From what I can remember, I have only been to Korea at most twice when I was younger, for my maternal grandparents' funeral. I was told that my grandparents in Korea will always visit me in Singapore when they miss me, so it was only right that I pay them a visit when they passed away. This is thus my first time in Korea after growing up. Though I am really excited about starting school at my dream school, I am also very nervous and scared about not fitting in with the other students. The main reason for my anxiousness is that Starlight Academy caters to children of all ages, from Kindergarten to Elementary School, then Middle School and High School and finally its most well known Starlight International University. Most of the students will already have their own group of friends, especially if they started attending school at the Academy since Kindergarten. Being quite introverted in nature, I tend to worry a lot about adapting and making new friends. As I fall deep into my thoughts, I have arrived at the legendary Starlight Academy about an hour after leaving the airport in a taxi. True to its reputation as one of the top schools with the most conducive environment for studying, the school sits on a hill, located in a secluded area on the outskirts of Seoul. The school and the apartments, which I suppose is where the dorms are, are the only buildings in the area. Trees surround the campus everywhere. The main part of the school is built entirely with red bricks. Right at the centre, the school logo and name can be seen at the top of a big entrance with a triangular roof. On both sides of the entrance, the school looks like a two storey mansion that has the same triangular roof. The windows on the first floor are full length, starts from the top and touches the ground. Despite that, I cannot see what is inside but is 100% sure that people inside have a clear view of everything outside. The second floor has rectangular windows, spread apart equally. There are also similar square windows protruding from some parts of the roof. The other blocks and apartments behind are very modern and have their own unique style, making the main block look old but grand. After admiring the view of the campus, I headed into the administrative office to collect my student package which includes the school map, my timetable and lecture notes for the semester. I was also informed of my dorm room and locker number, receiving their keys and default password. As I walked out, I was surprised and happy to see two familiar faces. I expected to see them here but not so soon. "오빠들!" (오빠, pronounced oppa, is what korean females call their older brothers, blood related or just someone close) The two guys look at me when they hear me calling. "오랜만이야! 너무 반가워요!!" (It has been such a long time! I've missed you guys so much!!) I almost screamed while holding back tears. I gave both of them a hug. It feels so good to see people I know in an unfamiliar place. "Hey, Everleigh! We missed you too! We came here to meet you after hearing that you have reached the campus." Elan replied. He is the one with ash brown hair. "You just came out of the administrative office. Didn't they tell you that you are not allowed to speak Korean unless it is necessary for class?" Eden, with ash mint green hair, told me in a teasing tone, with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. "I did find it weird that they spoke in English in the office, but how would I know if they didn't tell me. I am new here!" I pouted, showing my annoyance at being teased. "Don't worry about those rules and regulations for now. You will learn them when you receive your student handbook on the first day school starts officially." Elan assured me, being the more mature one as always. Elan and Eden are identical twins, with Elan born two minutes earlier than Eden. Most people identify them by their hair. Elan's hair is always more simple and casual, while Eden's hair is always styled and dyed a vibrant colour. For me, I have known them for as long as I can remember so I am confident in telling them apart no matter what. Besides, they are not the only pair of twin brothers I know. Elan and Eden's older brothers are twins as well. They are much harder to tell apart. Enzo and Emil do not make any effort to differentiate themselves for others so one must know them really well to do so. Being businessmen, they keep their hair black and are always dressed in suits. Enzo has a small cut on his eyebrow and Emil has a small mole at the corner of his mouth. This is how I tell people to identify the older pair of twins. "Come on Everleigh, we will bring you to your dorm for you to unpack and settle in. If time allows, we can even bring you on a tour around the school before our soccer practice." The twins offered. I am grateful for their offer as Elan and Eden have been attending school at Starlight Academy since they were 16, so they are very familiar with the school. The twin brothers are great at sports since they were in Singapore. At the Soccer Youth Games, a coach from Starlight Academy recognised their talent and offered them a spot in the High School team. I was quite mad at the Academy when they had to leave because I would not be able to see the twins as often as I liked. Fast forward four years, Elan and Eden are now starting their second year at the Starlight International University, School of Sports and I will be attending high school here, as an 11th Grade. *** After a whole day of travelling and walking around school, I am absolutely exhausted. After leaving my things in the dorm, Elan and Eden had some time before they had to go for their training. The twins managed to bring me around campus, showing me where my classes will be held and where I can go for a meal. Laying on my bed in my room, I took time to look at the place I will be spending several nights and probably most of my time at until I graduate. The room can be shared by two people and is arranged such that each person gets one side of the room. On both sides of the room is a loft bed and at the bottom, there is a study table with shelves and a drawer. The closet can be found at the foot of the bed and the bathroom is at the back of the room. My side of the room is plain and undecorated. The luggages I bought with me is still on the floor as I have not started unpacking. I decided to do that the next day because I have no energy left. The other side of the room was neatly organised and from the way it is decorated, I think I will be getting along very well with my roommate. After calling my grandparents,  I got ready to go to sleep. Then, I heard someone trying to open the door. I thought I wouldn't meet my roommate today but I guess I was wrong. I sat up to greet her, wanting to introduce myself. "Hello, my dear roommate!" My roommate exclaimed when she came in. When she saw me on my bed, she came to me and started talking again. "I heard you were coming today. I'm sorry I could not be here when you came. I was spending some time with my family before school started. Anyway, did you get a look around the campus yet? Silly me, of course you didn't. Being new here, you probably don't even know anyone, let alone have a friend who can bring you around. Am I right? It's okay though. I can give you a tour tomorrow if you like. If the school told me a little earlier that I was going to have a roommate I could have been here for you today." "Hi...? It's nice to meet you too...?" A little overwhelmed by how enthusiastic my roommate is. "Oh, I was rambling again. Sorry, I'm very excited to be getting a roommate. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Braelynn, you can just call me Bree." "Nah, it's okay. I'm Everleigh. I met two friends who were more than happy to accompany me while I looked around the school. Thanks for your offer though and sorry you had to rush back from meeting your family." "Nothing to be sorry about. I can visit them anytime and they can find me here too. You mentioned having friends here? How? Who? I was told this is your first time at Starlight Academy though?" Braelynn looked at me, puzzled. "That's right! I have never studied at the Academy. I met Elan and Eden in Singapore. We were neighbours so naturally we became friends. They started attending high school here after being scouted. They are now in the University's School of Sports." "Did you just say Elan and Eden? You mean Starlight Academy's athletic Princes?! Two of the most beautiful boys on campus?! Younger twin sons of Korea's top celebrity couple, Choi Joong Won and Kim Chae Hyun?! Woww..." Braelynn is now looking at me in awe. "Prince? Beautiful? Meh… they are alright. Calling them a prince and telling them they look good would only boost their already humongous ego," I said with disgust. I cannot believe that people actually find the pair of brothers attractive. To me, they are just your typical neighbourhood boy who eats way too much and cannot clean up after themselves. "I don't think we are talking about the same people, Bree." "Please, I think you need to have your eye checked. The Choi Family is literally goals. Not only do their parents look like they have not aged since their young glamorous days, the four brothers look like freaking angels, dropped from heaven. I heard rumours saying that they have a younger sister who also inherited the family's good looks. Just imagine them together! What a visual family!" Braelynn turned all dreamy eyed as she talked about the Choi Family. "Angels?! HAHAH!! The four of them are more like devils in disguise. I must admit though, they can take really good care of me when they are willing. However, I think you are exaggerating. In my opinion, I’m sure you can easily find a lot of guys who look better than them.”"What?! You know the older twins too?! How did you get so lucky? How did it feel to have four handsome guys looking after you?" Braelynn asked, filled with envy. "Well, we were neighbours in Singapore. They would often come over to my house to hang out when their parents were busy." I answered. "Ohhh, I see. Good to be you! Anyways Evie, since you are so close with the brothers, you must be friends with their sister too?" Braelynn continued asking. "Nope, it's just the four of them. No secretive sister. Trust me, I would know." I told her. That night, Braelynn and I got to know a lot about each other. I learnt that Braelynn's parents are owners of a property business. It is a very successful family business that has been passed down for generations so Braelynn will be inheriting the business after her parents retire. It can be assumed that Braelynn's family is quite high on the social pyramid but she is definitely not what one would expect from the heiress of a multi-millionaire. For some reason, Braelynn seems quite lonely and unhappy about her life. I hope this will change as we become closer in future. For now, I am just glad that I found someone I can click with and we get to attend school together. Making a new friend was not as hard as I thought. I smiled to myself as I drifted off to sleep.
