Audrey POV
I hadn't realized how late it had gotten. I leaned back in my chair, stretching. Then I leaned forward again. "There's still so much to do," I sighed, happily. If I kept up my current pace, then I should be able to get the school opened up again in a matter of days. I picked up my pen, deciding I should try to get through a little more paperwork before I called it a night.
Suddenly, my phone was vibrating from somewhere under one of the pieces of paper that were scattered over my desk. I shuffled through the pages, trying to find it. Finally, I found it, but before I could answer, it rang one last time and then stopped. I looked at who had been calling and pressed redial. "Hello?" I heard Darren answer.
"You called?" I asked as I tried to straighten up my desk.
