Audrey's POV
I watched as Nova went into her room. We had gone through the entrance of the hospital. Nurses and other hospital staff stopped to stare for a moment, confused as to why Nova was walking in with only a bedsheet wrapped around herself. She seemed unfazed by their looks. Instead, she appeared happier and somehow lighter.
"Thank you," she whispered to me just before she closed the door.
"No problem," I responded with a smile.
I turned on my heels and headed back out the hospital's front doors and back to the packhouse. The moonlight somehow felt different after seeing what Nova had just gone through. It wasn't fair that she lost Ski, but at least she wasn't left alone. She was sent Fyra. I took my time walking toward the packhouse, letting the cool air wrap around me. The win
