He came up to my face, looked deep into my eyes and whispered in my ear, “I want to f**k you so badly, you don't know how sexy you look right now.”

I whispered back to him,“ what are you waiting for then?”

Chapter1
“Ella, I finished school three years ago, and I still don't have a job. I'm 24, and I have no source of income. I'm still living with my parents; my siblings are literally not the best people to live with, and you say everything will be okay!” I talked back to Ella. Ella has been my best friend since we finished college, along with Katelyn and Zoey. Katelyn and Zoey both work for an oil company, and Ella works at a firm. I, on the other hand, haven't found a job since we all finished school. “Zara, I know how frustrating it must be, but you have to relax. I'm sure you will get accepted somewhere,” she said. "Ella, you have been saying this for a while now, and I'm tired already. I have an interview today. I hope it goes well." “It will. I have to go to work now. I will see you later. I love you girl." “Love you too, bye.” She paid for our coffee and with that she left for work while I remained at the café to finish mine. I was done with my coffee, then I checked the time. I had 40 more minutes. I decided to head to the office early. I took a cab. The building was massive — glass walls reflected the sky. It almost touched the clouds. I caught my reflection in the glass as I stepped out and walked inside. I walked straight to the receptionist, and she seemed very friendly, and I was glad because I didn't want to deal with those receptionists with bad attitudes. “Good morning, I have an interview today.” I greeted her with a smile. “Good morning. What's your name?" she asked. “Miss Zara Lawson,” I told her. She typed on the computer in front of her, then she stood up and pointed to the elevator. Then she said," Take the elevator and go to the 8th floor, the first door to your right. That's where your interview will be held. Good luck.” "Thank you,” I said to her and turned to leave. I was walking towards the elevator as someone went in, and the door was about to close, so I shouted to the male figure I saw while walking in haste,“ Please hold the door for me.” He didn't even budge and watched as the elevator closed in my face while wearing a smug look. “Jerk," I cursed and some people passing behind me laughed while I faked a smile and waited for the elevator to come down. I finally got on the elevator to the 8th floor. I walked into the office on the right as the receptionist had directed me to. I knocked on the door and I heard a voice from within,"Come in.” I opened the door, the figure was facing the window and when he turned to face me, my eyes grew in shock. It was the same jerk from the elevator. I figured I had to keep my cool if I wanted to land this job as it was basically my only hope. Do not screw this up, Zara. “Good morning sir,” I greeted. He didn't even reply to my greetings; he just went over to his seat and signaled for me to come in and sit. I sat down, and I handed him my file as he was going over the file. He took a few glances at me and after a few minutes he finally said something to me. “You have never worked as a secretary or any position in a company or firm, what makes you think you will do a good job here?” "I'm a fast learner and I adapt very well to my surroundings. I'm sure I will do a great job, sir,” I replied. He smirked and said, “If that's the same reply you have been giving to other companies, then it's no wonder why you haven't gotten accepted anywhere.” My hands shook as my throat went dry after he finished speaking. Yup, you have definitely blown this one up. “You may leave.” He flung my documents at me, and I was just about to give him a piece of my mind. Then it occurred to me that perhaps it hadn't been concluded yet that I didn't get the job, so let me not screw myself up totally. “Arrogant bastard," I murmured to myself while I picked my documents from the floor and cursed several times. "What was that?” he asked. "Huh…nothing sir, thank you,” I dashed out of the office before he asked me any more questions and as I walked to the elevator I bumped into someone. “I'm so sorry, I wasn't seeing where I was going.” I quickly apologized and bent down to pick up the file the person had dropped and to also pick up mine from the floor. Then he also reached to pick it up for me, and we bumped into each other again. " Ouch…,” I shouted as I rubbed my head. He burst out laughing at the way I rubbed my head. I couldn't help but join him as well. We both stood up from the floor. “My bad, I also wasn't looking," he said. “It's fine," I replied. “I haven't seen your face before, are you new here?” he asked. "I would be that if I nailed this job, but it seems I might have gotten my rejection before seeing it in my email," I answered. “It's tough getting a job here, it requires a lot of qualifications, but you look smart, so I'm sure you would nail it. I hope to see you around. I have to go now.” "Thanks so much, let me not waste your time. See you soon hopefully,” I smiled. He gave the sweetest smile ever before he left, and my mood lightened up a bit. I went into the elevator and on reaching the first floor I walked over to the receptionist. "Thank you, I will be on my way now,” I t old her. "Alright miss, have a nice day,” she smiled as the words fell from her mouth.
