The Strong One

Episode 3

"Hey." Diego said smiling at me.

Just when I was about to put on my seatbelt Diego stopped me and started bringing my face closer to his just as his lips were about to touch mine I stopped him.

"what's wrong." he asked worriedly which made me smile.

"Someone could see us." I said scared of getting caught making Diego chuckle.

"Windows are tinted." he said simply.

His lips were soon on mine and my hands were in his hair completely messing it up but I can't help it.

Realising that I'm not stopping Diego brought his hands around my waist and pulled me to him and soon I was sitting on his lap, we were stopped by the honk of the car going of which made me jump right back to my seat because that caused attention from the guards to turn to us and even thought they couldn't see us I felt awkward.

"We should get going." I said blushing badly.

"Yeah lets get going." he said with a smirk on his face.

When we got to the warehouse before we got out of the car I gave Diego a quick kiss and then we made way to my parents office.

we decided to knock the door in case of them you know.

"Hey kids." my dad said not looking up from his Laptop.

"Diego come over here we have some more things to go over from the last day including dealing with late payments." my dad said and Diego went over.

"Alex let's go you have training as well as safety to go over today." my mum said getting up, even though we are being trained we have to do things our own way when in Boss and Diego is second in command, the reason we are trained is so we can learn about things that have happened so we can deal with other situations, soon we will be going separately to learn at another gang, one that is trusted and an ally of course, however the time we spend there will vary and when we leave we only come back when I'm ready to step up.

"Left, Left, Right, Left, Right, Down Low, Up high, Alex concentrate you know this common." mum said to me while I'm dodging pushes.

"Can we take a break we have been training for 5 hours non-stop." I said exhaustedly, normally I can do this no problem but last night I spent the night thing about Diego and I and had little sleep and its obvious to my mum I'm tired as she had to start to call out where she's punching because I can't concentrate on her moves any longer.

"Ok fine only because you father texted me saying he and Diego are done for today, you guys head on home." Mum said to me smiling sympathetically.

"Alright bye mum love you." I said and as I was about to leave mum stopped me and said,

"Oh honey nan isn't home her and Ryan left on their holiday earlier today and dad and I will be here till very late fixing some problems that occurred so we decided to stay here the night the drive home and back at 5 in the morning would be pointless, I'm not going to ask if you'll be ok because I know you will just say 'mum I'm not a baby' but anyway there is money at home order something if you'd like, love you."

"Alright thank you mum, love you too." I said then walked out and made my way to Diego's car.

"Hey Alex." Diego said as I sat in his car.

"Hiya, here do you wanna stay over tonight? mum and dad are staying here, nan and grandpa are away on holidays, we could order a bunch of food and watch movies." I asked him hopefully.

"No thanks." Diego said which made me frown.

"I'm joking, yeah of course." Diego laughed.

"You are so mean, I hate you." I told him angrily turning to the side.

"Ok Ok I'm sorry alright butt your face was so damn cute when I said no." he said.

By the time we got to my parents villa I was no longer mad at Diego but you can't blame me it's so hard to stay mad at him for long.

"I'm going to change, you can go get something to wear at Olly's room (Olly's is Alex's uncle for those who haven't read the first two books) we will meet at the cinema room." I said to Diego.

I took a quick shower an then put my hair in a bun put on a pair of shorts and an over sized t-shirt and made my way into the cinema room. 

I realised that Diego was still not there so I hid and waited for him to arrive so I could scare him.
