The Strong One

Episode 2

"Alex honey we are home." I heard my mum say and quickly pushed Diego away and tried to calm my breathing which was very rapid.

"In the movie room mum!" I said back while fixing my clothes as I look at Diego I realise he's adjusting his trousers which causes me to blush madly.

"Hello baby." my mum said coming up to me and hugging me. my mum is still pretty young and elegant and many people are shocked when they see her with me, no one believes that I'm her daughter.

"Diego sweetheart I didn't know you were over." mum said going over to hug Diego.

"hello Mrs Harrison." Diego said hugging mum back.

As soon as Diego called my mum Mrs Harrison her whole face changed and she stared at Diego seriously.

"How many times to I have to tell you the same thing you stubborn boy, call me Sofia or aunt I have known you since you were in diapers." Mum said rolling her eyes which caused Diego to smile sheepishly.

"Alright I'm going to head home dad probably already there." Diego said winking at me while mum wasn't looking.

"Bye Alex, see you later Mrs Harrison." Diego said and quickly left.

"How can I deal with that boy." mum said exhaustedly, Diego loves to bug mum and he knows she hates people calling her because it makes her feel old.

"If it was anyone else bugging me like that they would be six feet under." mum said and I laughed even though I know she's not joking.

"Mum I've already ate so I'm going to head to my room, love you, say night to dad for me please." I told my mum going over to kiss her cheek an then made my way up the stairs.

As I walked into my room I realised how much of a mess my bedroom is, its so messy you can't take in the beauty of the white and gold room, I decided to tidy up not caring that's its past midnight and that I should go sleep since I have training tomorrow, as I cleaned my room bit by bit I could finally see the floor, my room has white walls, gold bed frame and gold frames all over my room as well as small decorative gold objects, what I love about my room has to be my window, it is massive which allows a lot of sunlight in, what is awesome about it is that I can see outside but no one can see to the inside.

When I ended the cleaning I decided to take a shower and then go to bed.

I laid on my bed and right before I went to sleep my phone went off making me jump, I looked to my bed side table where my phone was and picked it up.

when I saw the text I instantly smiled when I saw it was from Diego, it was just saying goodnight but I sat smiling like an i***t anyway.

I have known Diego since I was born and throughout our childhoods we were inseparable, we did everything together, from playing pranks on others to doing homeschooling together, since I was little I've been bossy and pushy and my family always loved Diego for being able to put up with me, he used to be so quiet and I was loud which still hasn't changed over the years, everyone used to say that we would end up married which as kids we always eww to but when we started growing up my feelings started changing, I tried to ignore it for most of the time but when I realised Diego felt the same it got more difficult to pretend its not there however our families do not know about us and my dad can never I mean never find out we even kissed or Diego would be in for a lot.

The next morning.

I woke up around half 8 and started getting ready for the training which would be with my mum at the warehouse gym.

"Hey nan." I said to my granny as I walked into the kitchen, my parents wanted to get a cook but since my dad doesn't allow my granny to work as she was badly sick before I was born she spends her days cooking which I have to admit is wonderful food.

"Hello my love." nan said coming toward me with fresh orange juice a bowl of fruit and a slice of her mouthwatering chocolate cake.

"Thank you nan, your the best." I thanked her and then went to sit down to eat and soon nan joined me drinking her tea from the mug I bought her when I was little.

"So is there anything you want to tell me." nan said smirking.

"No..." I said unsurely.

"Really nothing going on with you and a certain best friend?" nan asked.

"There's nothing going on." I said trying to keep a straight face.

"Alright I guess I'll have to wait for you to tell me yourself then." nan said but more as if she was talking to herself.

"Ok I'm going to go nan, Diego texted me he's outside waiting for me, he's giving me a lift to the warehouse thank you for the food." I gave nan a kiss then walked out, the reason mum doesn't give me a lift is because mum gets to the warehouse at around half 5 with dad and I love my sleep.

"Hiya." I said getting into Diego's car.
