Reed's POV "Reed Royal, it's about time we had a conversation" A smooth yet stern voice says to me and I slowly open my eyes. Looking around me I push myself up on my elbows and wince as my scar throbs a bit. My gaze clashes with a petite, angelic woman in a white gown sitting on a chair that seemed to look like a throne of sorts. "It's not a throne, I just like archaic looking things" she says with a smile and my mouth hangs open at the thought of her reading my mind "I didn't just read your mind either. Your face is just an expressive open book to me" she chuckles softly and I sit upright suddenly. The immediate move was a bad idea though, as my entire chest feels as though it was tearing from the inside out. The woman stands from her seat and walks towards me, or was she floating?
