Alpha Caleb's fingers tighten a bit more around my throat and I feel my heart pounding in my chest as my eyes dart to Luna Leah's body being held by Stefan. I call out to Luca in my mind and he turns to me with a defeated look on his face.

Reed's voice rings out in my head and I see Luca turn towards him. His eyes glow red and he throws his head back as a ferocious roar escapes him. Within seconds, the chains that once held him now lay at the feet of his magnificent red wolf Gareth. Gareth turns to Seraphina and swipes a claw over her chains, releasing her as well. Seraphina places her tattooed hand on Gareth and it starts to glow. Her irises are also glowing red like the color of Gareth's fur as they step towards Blaine.
