Blurb

I never had an easy life. I was dumped on someones porch when I was only six months old. Nothing but a note with my name and asking that they protect and take care of me. Since then, I was placed in the foster home, bouncing around from home to home, never belonging in one place. No one wanted to keep me because unexplainable things happened whenever my emotions were high. I can't explain why I can do what I can but I have learned to control it for the most part. But when an incident at school causes me to be expelled, I am approached by two men telling me I needed to come with them to an academy where they say ''I'll belong' I never expected to be drawn to not only one but three incredibly sexy men who turn out to be what was supposed to be a myth and one of them a professor who was beyond sexy. What could happen? ( This is a reverse harem story)

Chapter 1
"Miss. Ashford go to the principles office." Mr. Anders yells at me. I quirk a brow at him and smirk "For what?" His eyes bore into mine as he looked from Matt to me. "Seriously?" I ask with a laugh "I was across the room. I didn't touch him." I couldn't help but laugh. Matt had been drinking from his water bottle and I may have used my powers to dump the water all over him, but no one could prove it. Mr. Anders looked pissed as he turned from me and continued his lesson. I just laughed. As his lesson ended I trotted out of the class smiling, pretty pleased with myself and the small prank I'd pulled on the d**k headed jock. "Hey, Anna." Matt said as he grabbed me by the arm and jerked me to face him. I looked down at where he held me and back up to him. "Are you attached to your hands Matt?" I ask, boredom lacing my tone. "What?" He asked confused. I smiled as I grabbed his hand, bending it back until I heard a snap and then his ear piercing scream, I then punched him for good measure. "Keep your hands to yourself next time."  "Miss. Ashford, come with me, now." I groaned as I turned to face the principle. Great. I followed him to his office in silence. I knew what would happen, I'd get expelled. I've had too may incidents this year for him to let me stay. The very first being that I had gotten so mad at someone A glass beaker flew into her head. She had to go get stitches and an X-ray.  When I got to his office, two men stood stock still and straight as a board. "So your expelling me and sending me to military school." I muse as I take my seat. "No Anna, these men are here to help you. They've heard of the mishaps that has happened lately and said you would be more at home at their academy." I let out a small laugh. "You do know who you're talking to right?" He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "Yes, Anna. I do, and I think you should go. There is nothing more we can do for you here. You're grades are remarkable, but your behavior is violent and unpredictable. We can no longer accommodate you here."  I give the men a bored look. "So, what's the name of this Academy?" One man narrowed his eyes at me, while the younger one just stared. He was uncomfortable. His jaw was clenched, his brows furrowed. He clasped his hands in front of him so tight his knuckles weer turning white. As I examined his six foot seven frame I realized he was impossibly hot. His dark hair was shaggy and partly falling in his face, his eyes were as green as the forest. He had a squared jaw and high cheek bones, his skin was gorgeously tanned and it didn't take a genius to see he had the physique of a god.  "Shade Academy." the older one said pulling my attention back to him. This man was shorter, maybe only six foot. He had a long pointed nose, a sharp chin, and what looked to be pink eyes? I leaned forward looking closer. "Why are your eyes pink?" The question blurts out before I could stop it. The younger man stifles a laugh while the older stiffens. Mr. Adams the principle looks at the man and furrows his brows in confusion. "Anna, his eyes aren't pink, they're blue."  I looked between Mr. Adams and the odd man beside me. Is he blind? This mans eyes are clearly pink. I stare at the man harder and other abnormalities begin to unfold. His cheeks were sunken in to the point they looked hallow, his eyes looked to be sunken in as well. His well defined arms took on a more deathly appearance as his skin lost it's tanned glow and turned ashen. I shot up out of my chair as I looked at him.  For the first time in my life fear gripped me like a vice. "What are you?" I demand as I back away from him. The man gaped at me before turning to the younger one. He approached me slowly. "It's alright Anna, we can and will explain everything if you come with us to the Academy." I shake my head. "There is no way in hell I am going anywhere with him."  I shoot out of the room like a bat out of hell. What the hell was that thing? He wasn't human. He couldn't be. I heard the sound of foot steps racing after me, when I looked over my shoulder I saw the younger stranger chasing after me. I turned on my heel, throwing my hands up making him freeze mid stride. "Who are you and why are you following me? What do you want?"  The man grunted as he tried to fight my power. "There is no use, you can't escape it unless I want you to. And I won't until you tell me what the hell he is and what you want." He glared at me as I regarded him with fear. "He is a reaper. I am a dragon, and you, well you're a witch. And a damn powerful one if you can freeze me like this with no training." I scoff at him. "I train myself. And if you expect me to believe your nonsense you're out of your mind." I state.  "Let me go." He demands. "what's you're name?" I counter. He stared at me a moment longer "Axel." I wave my hand releasing him from my hold. "Well Axel, I have no interest in joining you at your fictional academy." He grabs my wrist as I turn to walk away a bolt of energy surges through me at his touch but I ignore it. I glower at him. "Do you know what happened to the last man who grabbed me?" I ask vehemently. He don't answer but I answer anyway "I broke his hand and his nose. Now take your hands off me."  I jerk my wrist from his grasp and continue to glare at him. His angry look has softened "Please come with us. If you don't like it after a month I will personally take you where ever you wish to go." The older man makes his way down the hallway towards us. "Fine, but keep him, it, whatever he is away from me." I say backing away. "How can you see my true face?" He demands approaching me. I back away quickly never taking my eyes off him. "That face is hard to miss." I answer my voice wavering. He steps closer to me and Axel stops him. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. She may be untrained, but she is strong. She could freeze me in place."  The older mans eyes widen. "What is your name?" I stare blankly at him. "Wait, so you're telling me you came here to recruit me but don't know my name? What kind of Academy do you go to?" The older man sighs heavily. "I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot I am Abe, I'm a reaper and the teacher of the potions class at the Academy. Our headmistress can sense strong magic. When she sensed you and where you were she sent us to retrieve you. The Academy will help you hone your magic, control it more effectively. But we didn't get a name."  I take a minute, looking for any sign of deceit. "My name is Anna Ashford." Their eyes grew wide. "No, it can't be." Abe whispered more to himself than to me. "What can't be?" I questioned. "The Ashford coven died out eighteen years ago." His voice was barely audible. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Especially nothing about a coven. I was abandon when I was six months old."  Axel turned to Abe "We need to get her to the Academy, she's in danger." His voice was frantic, fear laced his tone.  I went with them regardless of my apprehension. If these people knew who my family was then I'd go anywhere with anyone. Even if they were dead this was my chance to learn about them. Who they were, what they did. It was also my chance to learn about myself and my many gifts. At first I was just able to move things with my mind. It progressed quickly over the years to being able to freeze people and time, and controlling the elements. I could also read minds if I concentrated hard enough. A few times, though not many, my dreams would come to pass.  I don't know what this Academy would bring, but I knew I had to go.
