Chapter 28

To say the guys were mortified was a serious understatement. Me on the other hand was all but rolling in the floor with laughter. The tears that filled my eyes from laughing so hard was blurring my vision. Elana, although laughing along with me was slapping me on the back because at some point in time I had stopped breathing during my laughing fits.  "Come on Anna."  Axel whined "Is this really necessary?" I covered my mouth with the back of my hand trying desperately not to burst out laughing again. Let me explain. Instead of the guys having to go up to every individual student here, I decided on a much better idea, something they did not expect and something they really did not want to do. Since they decided it was a good idea to be mean and cruel and humiliate the student body, I decided to humiliate them. For one entire day, a day where we had an Academy assembly, I made them wear short mini type skirt, paired with a skin tight tank top that read " I am a douche bag." No not very original on the wording but it was still funny.  I mean come on picture it. Four muscular men, not only men but one teacher, one top of the food chain dragon shifter, a prince and a loner vampire; All dressed in mini skirts and crop tops waltzing around not only the Academy campus but soon to be the assembly. And I had a surprise in store for them, even got headmistress's Charlotte's blessing and full support. They will be preforming a runway show for the entire Academy to see and I couldn't wait. Crossing my arms over my chest i smirked. "Yes Axel, this is necessary. You have no one else to blame but yourselves for the way you acted." They all groaned. Ashe however was red as a beet, his eyes darting around the room in uncontrollable anxiety. To be honest it worried me, he was a prince after all appearance is everything for royals, no matter human or supernatural. I was beginning to second guess my punishment with him, maybe his would have to be a bit more subtle.  "Ashe, can I speak to you in private please?" I asked, feeling somewhat ashamed I hadn't taken his position into account sooner. Ashe's face was red, his eyes large and stressed as I led him back into my dorm room. I rushed to him and threw my arms around him once the door was closed firmly behind us. "Ashe, I am so sorry." I whispered. He hugged me tightly to him, his form trembling. "For what?" His words were strained, his tone stressed. I pulled away and looked into his blue eyes. "For not taking your position into consideration when I decided on a punishment. You are royalty and your image means everything to you and your family."  Ashe's eyes lit up and he squeezed me to him so tight I swear my bones were going to break. "Thank you Anna. You don't know how worried and stressed I was over this. I was willing to do it for you, but I was so scared it would bring shame to my family. Thank you for understanding my position." I couldn't answer, I was too busy trying to breathe. I couldn't catch my breath and Ashe had pinned my arms to my side in his haste to hug me. I could feel my eyes starting to water as my lungs burned like fire.  The door burst open then and Ashe was thrown away from me. I fell to my knees gasping and coughing as sweet sweet oxygen made its way harshly into my deprived lungs. "What the hell Ashe?" Samuel screamed as he stomped over to him. Axel stayed at my side, rubbing my back while Alex followed Samuel. Ashe's eyes were wide with regret as he watched me gasping on the floor. "I..I didn't..I didn't know...I'm..I'm sorry." He stuttered.  I saw the moment Samuel went to lung for Ashe. I threw a barrier up between them before anyone could do anything they'd regret later. All eyes snapped to mine. Ashe's with regret and the others in anger. "Drop the barrier." Samuel hissed. I still couldn't talk, my throat still burning so I shook my head. Samuel stalked over to me and pulled me up to his height by my collar. Shock crashed into me at his behavior. "Drop the barrier."  My shock quickly turned to anger. Planting my hands firmly on his chest I shoved. Samuel flew into the far wall, slamming into it with a loud thud. I again dropped to my knees but kept my eyes narrowed harshly at Samuel. "Water." I rasped out to Axel. He nodded at me even though he was eyeing Samuel with fury dancing in his eyes.  When he got back with a large glass of water, I guzzled it down in second. The icy liquid quenching the burning fire that had laced my throat. "Thank you Axel." I said as I stood. Staring Samuel down I waved my hand releasing Ashe, who rushed over to my side and clasped my hands in his. "Anna, I am so sorry. I didn't realize how hard I was squeezing you." He closed his eyes as a lone tear fell down his cheek. I smiled softly and wiped it away. "It's alright love. It was an accident."  Turning my attention back to Samuel I glared. "You however. What you did was no accident, you knew what you were doing and yet you done it anyway. What the hell has gotten into you Samuel? If you want to reject me then fine, reject me, but never and I mean never lay your hands on me in that fashion again. Do you understand?" I spat.  "Anna, no please!" Samuel begged. "I was blind with rage. I didn't realize what I was doing until you threw me into the wall. I never intended to hurt you, and I would never reject you." He was on his knees by this point, tears falling down his face. "I'm sorry Anna." He whispered shaking his head side to side. I closed my eyes and sighed. "Fine. Ashe go change, I will think of another way for you to make amends. All of you it's time to go I have a surprise waiting for you."  Their eyes widened marginally as they followed me out of my dorm. People were staring and laughing at them all the way across campus. If this was what walking through the halls did I can't wait to see what happens at the assembly, but first they had to get through classes, and Samuel above all had to teach his. I smiled at that last thought. The handsome and infamous Samuel, whom all the girls had a crush on, teaching classes in a mini skirt and crop top. I couldn't wait for the Assembly. "What's going on?" Elana asked excitedly as we made our way to the Assembly hall. I smiled wickedly at her. "Oh, just wait and see. You'll love it." I said evasively. Elana sighed, but was still smiling and vibrating with impatience and excitement. I couldn't help but laugh at her as we took our seats front and center. I clasped my hands into my lap and smiled. Oh, I couldn't wait for all this to get started.
