Don’t get me wrong. I’m happy to be going home to see my family and my pack, but being away gives me advantages that I wouldn’t have in my pack, which is a better understanding of being an Alpha to the Silver Moon pack. I want to be a different Alpha than my Father. He holds it down the way he learns, and that’s what I want to do.

Another thing my parents are going on about is Mate.

Last night, my mother called me, saying,” Son, are you bringing someone special?”.

Alex:” No one special, just me.”

Mom: “When are you going to settle? You're going to be Alpha soon. You have to choose a mate.

Alex:” I hear you. I’ll cross that bridge when we get there.”

Mom sigh”, ok, see you soon, son.”

Alex” Bye, Mom.”

I’m nineteenth years old and should’ve found my mate already, but being away and not traveling much to other pack makes it difficult to find my mate, I don’t know where else I can find my mate. I haven’t been looking that hard for her since I have the freedom to sleep with whomever I want without concerns cause once you find your mate, things change, and you form a bond that only rejection can break. I don’t want to. We’ll wait and see. I feel the car slowing down. I look out the window and know we are outside the pack border. I feel excited. Even my wolf is happy to be home. Once I exited the car, I saw my parents waiting for me—my Mother with tears in her eyes. I got close, and she hugged me like a mother who hadn't seen her son in four years.

My father, the alpha, is another story. All he said was, “Welcome home, son, “ and he walked away.

I was thinking, It’s good to be home, while mumbling “ It’s going to be fun.”

After meeting my parents, I went to my room to get some rest. Since the party wasn’t until eight tonight, I had time to be with my best friends.

Two hours later showered and well rested I’m ready for the party but first I got to see what my friend were up to when I was working hard I found Jason and smith outside the pack house I slap them both in the back which got them stumble a little after a good minutes of us pouching wrestling each other around like old times we decided to go and have a chat.

Jason” man it’s good to have you home”

Alex “ it’s good to be home what have you guys been up to”

Smith” oh you know training and little Jason here been going through half of the unmate she wolf in the pack”

Jason “ you talk too much I’ve got needs since I haven’t find my mate yet , I’m just tasting the water”

We all laugh I said” try not to drown while you're at it”

Jason “ you ready to find your mate?”

Alex” nah man ,looks like the party is already started.” I say to them, when I heard the music coming from the house.
