Forbidden Love

I stood on the gravel driveway looking up at the glorious mansion infront of me. The place where I will now be employed, along with my family. I took a deep breath and stared down at the singular suitcase gripped in my left hand before I walked to the front door. My mom knocked on the door, it swung open to reveal an extremly tall and very good looking older man. "Hi, Im Evelyn Augestine, this is my daughters Hazel and Estella and my son Peter, we were hired here by the Baknors." My mom said giving the man a smile. "Oh yes Mrs. Evelyn, we have been waiting for you right this way." He stepped aside to let us enter, then mansion inside was more amazing then the outside. Marble flooring, shiny dark wood banasters leading up a grand staircase. " My name is Curtis, I am the eldest son of the owner." He smiled our way, I swear my heart just about stopped, he was gorgeous. "My pleasure." My mom said again, acting as polite as expected from the women hired to be the maid. "Lilian!" He yelled, reteriving the attention of an older lady who hurried into the room. "Yes sir." She said, glancing over all of us before turning her attention back to him. "Please show our new hires where they'll be staying." He said, his tone strong but soft. She nodded and motioned for us to come along. Walking down the halls that where loaded with family pictures, some looking extremly old while others looked, new. "This is your room Hazel, please make yourself comfortable, wash up and meet us for dinner in 1 hour, we will discuss tommorw then." Lilian smiled opening the door allowing me to step in. I gasped and almost dropped my bag right then and there. It was amazing. The room was filled from floor to ceiling with windows giving me an estonishing veiw of the yard. I was completely grateful for my new room and the new beggining in my life but at the same time I had an extreme pain of sadness twisting in my heart. I shook it off and placed my stuff away in my given dresser before selecting an outfit for the dinner. I explored my room a little more, finding a bathroom attatched which I was grateful for. I decided to take a quick shower before heading out. --- 1 hour later--- I was dressed and ready leaving my room, I decended down the hall before quickly getting lost in the huge mansion. I tried to follow the instructions Lilian gave me earlier but to no evail. "Excuse me, can I help you?" I heard a gruff voice say from behind me, the voice on its own had my body shivering before I even turned around. Once I did I was met by the most stunning brown eyes I have ever seen in my life. I was extremly breathless, he was tall, he towered over me with a thick head of the curliest hair, it looked so soft. The look on his face seemed puzzled, and surprised, like something had just washed over him. "I- I." I said, stuttering. What is wrong with me! I have never ever felt this connection and he's someone I just met! I dont even know who he is! "Yes." He said, trying to compose himself again, stepping closer to me. "Im sorry, my name is Hazel, Hazel Augestine, Im the new hire." I said, looking up at the glorious man infront of me. "Welcome, I'm Silas Baknor." He said, now so close to me I could practically feel the heat coming off his body. Baknor!? I silently screamed to myself, he was the headmans son! "I'm so sorry! I was trying to find the diner hall, I got lost!" I said waving my hands infront of myself, what an i***t. "No worries, I was heading there myself my family and I are meeting the new hires, Ill show you." He said walking ahed of me, I quickly followed after him trying to keep up. I was expecting it to be just be and my family at this dinner, but there was another family, one I did not know. "Ah Hazel!" My mom said running over to me as Silas walked to the head of the table with his family. I smiled at her softly and explained my late appearence , minus the odd connection I felt with Silas. "Can I have your attention everyone!" A man said, silencing the whole room, grabbing everyones attention. I looked towards the front, the whole family was freaking gorgeous! I recognized Curtis from earlier, and Silas from the hallway. I could only assume the tall man in the front was Mr.Bankor and beside him was his wife, followed by a girl so ethereal I could cry. "My name Felix Baknor, or your employer, I want to thank you all for coming and agreeing to work." He said, with such a tone that you couldn't help but relax quickly. " This is my wife Rose, my sons Curtis and Silas and daughter Nellie, if you need anything please ask." I have never met someone who was so easy going, its like he wanted everyone here to like him. " Lilian is the head maid here with James being our head gardener, they will help you all get situated into your positions here at the mansion." He said and with that he told everyone to mingle and to get to know the people you would be working close with. "You are beautiful." I heard a voice say to me, I sighed when I realized it was not the voice I wanted it to be. I turned around. I was met by a very handsome man, about my age or older, but not nearly as handsome as Silas. "Thank you." I said smiling, try to be polite "My name is Jack, I am the personal trainer around here." He said getting close to me as I tried to back up. "Hazel, I'm the new hire under Lilian." I said, again trying to put some distance between us. I wanted to know I was not interested. "You know, I could give you a little bit of a private lesson." He said, now backing me into a wall and placing his hands above my head. I gulped and shook my head. "Come on Princess." He said tilting my chin up to him. I wanted to scream but also didn't want to make a scene at my new employers welcoming party. "GET YOUR f*****g HANDS OFF OF HER!" I heard that same heavenly voice say, this time more angry and almost a growl. A growl!!? I said Did Silas just growl?
