CHAPTER TEN It wasn’t long afterward that Rubberman and the other security guards—who were all real security guards, not fakes like the one helping the thief—showed up. Rubberman, of course, checked on me and asked if I was okay, while the security guards searched the Museum after I told them what happened. Yet it did not take them long to report back that they had been unable to find any clues of either the thief or the rogue security guard, meaning that the two criminals had managed to escape the Museum with Harold Golden’s watch in hand.
