Lindelhoff and the rest of the crew were panting hard. The steam from their bodies filled the air of the U-boat’s cabin, and they could not see from one end of the compartment to the other. Their claws were clogged with dead flesh that crackled, and their fur was matted with black blood that tasted of the underworld. The Ghost Children that were wrapped around the airship were too many in number, and the Kapitan had signalled for them to return to the ship. The deck of the U-boat was covered in black blast marks where the lightning from the airship had struck it, and the field g*n was completely destroyed.
