Dru
The shifter led them to where he believed Ethan was being held. Dru parked a mile away, and then the shifter took them there on foot. They watched the house from the wood line for a while. As hard as Dru studied the house, he didn’t see any movement.
“Dru?” Jake asked, letting Dru know that he wasn’t seeing anything either.
“Let’s go in and see. Does the boss usually drive a vehicle of some sort?”
“No. I know it sounds ridiculous, but one minute he won’t be there and the next he’s there. We really don’t know how he comes and goes.”
“I will kill you if I think for one second you mean harm to me or my pack,” Dru said to the shifter.
“Understood,” the shifter agreed.
