Chapter 32
Annie
Dru looked hesitant at first, but then he let Ethan come in. It wasn’t that Annie wanted Ethan more involved than what he already was, but she knew that Ethan wanted to feel close to Dru. Annie was relieved when Dru motioned for him to come in.
Before Annie could settle Ethan into a seat, Dru sat down and hoisted Ethan on his lap. Annie smiled softly, and then Dru motioned for Terrell to play the file. Ava popped into the conference room long enough to drop off chocolate filled croissants, pepperoni rolls and drinks for everyone.
Annie was grateful for all the people surrounding her and Ethan, taking care of them. The video went on forever. Terrell would pause briefly in between each clip to give Annie and Ethan a chance to think on each voice. Nothing was standing out
