Annie
Annie couldn’t help but pace while the men were gone. Dru had been vague about what had been their plans once they left, but Annie knew it wasn’t good. The other women were much more relaxed. They seemed immune almost to their men running off into danger.
“Annie, honey, you’re going to give yourself an ulcer. Come sit down. Those men will be alright,” Stephanie said while she bounced her baby on her lap.
“I don’t like that Dru didn’t tell me his plan. What could they be doing?”
“Mom, Dru will be okay, right?” Ethan asked her.
“He will be, baby. I’m just nervous. You know how mommy can be.”
