Annie
“I’m taking Ethan down to the school to see about getting him registered,” Annie told Dru over coffee the next morning.
“So soon? I mean, could he wait until the next school year? I’ve just got you both, I don’t want to share you.”
“He’s been homeschooled out of necessity, but he wants to go to school.”
“I understand,” Dru said, looking like a boy who had just lost his puppy.
“We’ll have all summer together, and I’m not even sure when he can get in. A lot of times they require home schooled children to jump through a lot of hoops before they can enter a traditional school.”
“What about you? What do you want to do now that you’re free?” he asked her.
