Dru
“Thank you, Josh,” Dru said, shaking the young officers hand.
“No problem.”
Dru led Tayler over to his truck. The woman hadn’t said a word since he had shown up to get her released from jail.
“Nick’s alive?” she asked once they were in the safety of Dru’s truck.
“Yes, and he’ll be at the compound.”
“The compound?”
“The pack’s home.”
“Is that where we’re going now?”
“No. You’re going to take me to the house that you and Annie were being held at.”
“I don’t want to go back there. If I get close to that house, he’ll know, and he’ll kill me.”
“He’ll have to get through me first. You’re safe. I just need to know how to get there.”
“They won’t have Ethan there.”
“I realize that, but Annie mentioned guards. Those guards are my best shot at getting a lead to where Ethan
