Baking turned out better than I expected. Especially since I got to see a hundred-year old rich vampire boy in a pink apron and a hair net. Let me tell you, the laughter that came out of me when I saw him must’ve reverberated around the entire mansion. And even when my face was red and I could barely breathe, I just couldn’t stop. “That’s enough now,” Dorian said, his arms folded in front of his chest. I was leaning on my knees now, trying to get a hold of myself, but the angrier he got, the funnier he looked. He took off his hair net, and was about to take off his apron in exasperation, when I held my hand out and said, “Okay,” I cleared my throat, and caught my breath, “Fine, fine, I’m stopping. Just keep them on.” He looked at me suspiciously but didn’t continue to untie his apron.
