I heard Natasia asking more questions, but my mind buffered, and all I could think about was my daughter. Maggie approached us with worry, and Natasia’s attention shifted to making excuses for how I suddenly felt nauseous and dizzy.
The float suddenly stopped, marking the end of the parade as we were already back near the venue where we started. I quickly took my shoes off and jumped from the float, not minding if I stumbled at all.
Fortunately, I was able to land on my feet. I heard surprised gasps and confused reactions from people around me, mostly from the audience. I even hear some humans asking if it was part of the show, but I don’t have much time on my hands.
