They couldn’t find Ruis during their search but pulled some strings to check the CCTV footage, only to find him leaving the town. As much as I feel relieved that he physically distanced himself from me and my daughter, I could never feel safe now that I know that he could just prance his way here again.
It wasn’t like him to back down, either. He has too much pride in his cruel body to do so. My guess is that he realized that our town doesn’t simply have a rogue pack living in it and knew that he wouldn’t be able to easily touch me if he attacked now.
