I faced more surprised expressions from the rest of Dominic’s pack after they saw me and Dila. Based on their reaction, I take that Dominic didn’t give them an overview at all. First, they didn’t have any idea that I was the source of their leads, and second, they had no idea that Dominic found me and that we had a daughter.
Natasia inched closer to me while wearing a fake smile. “Why are they looking at you like they’re going to eat you alive. It’s creepy.” She whispered.
Her question effectively had all of them look away. I don’t know if I should be thankful to Natasia or be apologetic to them first.
Either way, I was as surprised as they were because Dominic still hadn’t told his pack about Dila, even after months of going back and forth to the town just to visit her.
