The True Mate

Chapter 3

*Grey’s POV*

The sun is gleaming through my curtains and as I roll over to pull my sheets over my head, my eyes catch a glimpse of my alarm clock. F**K. It’s almost 9 a.m. and I have to be at Blue Moon for the meeting at 11:30 and then afterward we are eating lunch. Luckily their pack is only a 45-minute drive from ours.

I quickly get up and throw my shirt on to rush downstairs to grab a quick bite to eat. There are still a few people in the dining room eating, as I walk in, they bow their heads in respect; I am their future alpha after all. I grab my plate from the Omega working and sit down at my table next to my best friend, Alex. We grew up together and he is going to be my Beta. Once I am finished eating, I look at the clock and noticed that it was 9:20. I rushed upstairs to my room to take a shower quickly.

When I got to my room though, my door was propped open. I thought I had shut it behind me but then again, I may not have shut it all the way due to being in a rush for breakfast. I was so focused on going straight to the shower that I didn’t realize that Madelynn was sitting on my bed waiting for me. I finally spotted her when I was walking into my bathroom. “What are you doing, Madelynn?” I asked. When she didn’t respond, I looked at her and asked again, “Madelynn, what are you doing? I have to get ready.” She then stated, “I thought I would stop by and pleasure you a bit before your meeting.” Just the thought of that made my member grow in my sweats. However, I just did not have the time and was already behind.

“Not right now, I am running behind and Alex said that he will be ready to leave in 15 mins. So, I must get dressed now. Please leave and I will see you when I get back” I said this as politely as I could. This did not make her happy as she slammed the magazine that she was holding down on the bed and stomped out of the room. I just knew I was going to hear about this tonight.

*Facepalm*

Oh well, I didn’t have time for this, I jumped in the shower and quickly got dressed. I had just finished putting my shoes on when Alex burst through my door yelling, “Dude, I already have the car out front let’s go before we are late.”
